Quick question - can the games be downloaded?

Hello there. I'd known about the site for a while, but frankly I'd never really bothered, because it didn't allow its stories to be downloaded. I have quite the IF collection, and am always looking to add to it, and like to be able to play without having to be logged onto the net, and there weren't many games here at the time anyway.

Now I see there are, and it seems to be growing nicely. There are nice stories here. I would very much like to add them all to my collection.

So - can I download the games and play them without needing an internet browser and a connection? If so, how? If not, is there any particular reason why not?, and has it ever been considered?, and is it likely to happen at all or never at all?

Aaaaa... No. Although I know some people have written their stories on word so maybe they can help, but I don't know how the options really would work. JJJ was going to write a book, but I don't think that worked. So yeah, I don't really know, but next time you should put this in the Feature Wishing Well.
Oh, and welcome. ; )

One of the things that originally attracted me to this site was the fact that the games can be played without downloading.

I can see where some people might like that capability, however, I don't think it's really something that could be practically implemented.
