after finally finishing my first game Rise of the Damned. I have begun working on my second game called  Enigma(working title) In the game you will grow up in ancient times and then have to pick a side in the war between the competing gods in the game. So far i am going to use the Greek gods, the one god"Christian god" and maybe the Norse gods. I need some ideas for other historical mythological gods i can use in this power struggle.

You could use asian mythology and religion, specifically japanese deity's like Izanagi and Raiden (Japan's great god, God of thunder and lighting that ate childeren) or even hindu mythology (vishnu and shiva). For all i know there is a mythology creature born from another creature ''wee wee'' (Japan).

Mythology is a broad subject, many things can be chosen.

Maybe some native americans gods too, and something like the nature's spirits ( a bit like the ancient pagan divinities ) :).

If you ever have a chance, look up a list of the personas available in the game Persona 3.  It contains a lot of gods and spirits from many different belief systems.

I have finally completed the story. All of your ideas were implemented in some way.

I need some opinions' on a new type of game I would like to try, It would be current and be loosely based off Red Dawn (the new one not the old one though the old one would be beast). I was thinking your in one of the group's and such but I can't decide what country to use as the antagonist without being super racist to some one. Help!!
