Hey all. I've been looking for someplace to make a CYA story and I think this may be the site. However, before I get too deeply involved in the story, I was wondering a few things.

What is the maximum number of pages allowed in a story?

What is the maximum amount of chapters allowed in a story?

There isn't a maximum. Have you played dead man walking? Over 530 000 words, trust me, you're good.

Thanks. I've always been thinking about making a CYOA, and now that I have the opportunity I'm running into the issue of having put too much thought into the project. I have hundreds of different branches planned  out and I haven't even finished the first chapter yet.

Don't worry, there is no such thing as putting too much work into a project, and readers will appreciate the effort. I look forwards to reading your storygame :)

It's a long term project and it's going to be very detailed, so I expect it to take a while. I'm also a bit of a perfectionist when it come to writing. However, I've been wanting to make this for a while, so it'll come out eventually.

Lol I understood it was long term. That's why I said tell us when you're done. 

Then take your time and craft it with care :) the community is always here to help and distract you lol
