Is it possible to add to a story after having published it?
A few questions. on 6/18/2013 10:06:23 PM
It's a long term project and it's going to be very detailed, so I expect it to take a while. I'm also a bit of a perfectionist when it come to writing. However, I've been wanting to make this for a while, so it'll come out eventually.

Thanks. I've always been thinking about making a CYOA, and now that I have the opportunity I'm running into the issue of having put too much thought into the project. I have hundreds of different branches planned out and I haven't even finished the first chapter yet.

Hey all. I've been looking for someplace to make a CYA story and I think this may be the site. However, before I get too deeply involved in the story, I was wondering a few things.
What is the maximum number of pages allowed in a story?
What is the maximum amount of chapters allowed in a story?
thank you for your time.
No backing through chapters? Optional hardcore? on 6/18/2013 1:26:27 AM
what about giving the player the option to choose to enter a hardcore mode? It wouldn't be up to the story writer then, it would be up to the player.

Is there any plans for a way to block the back button for in between chapters? I'm wanting to make a game with multiple branches while keeping the next stage of the story secret. This would allows a player to weigh all of their options before jumping ahead, but keeping the feeling of suspense by locking them into their final decision.
Also, is there any chance of enabling hardcore mode for players? I'm not talking about hardcore stories, just the ability for a player to disable the back button before they sit down to play a storygame. It would allow players who wanted to (and are prone to the temptations of the back button) to play through a storygame in a more challenging way while allowing more casual players the opportunity to go back.
