Would a palace be OK for role-playing? It's basically a palace with hidden rooms and secret corridors.

Do you mean for a story, or for a forum RP?

I'm not really an expert on the topic, but I guess it depends mostly on your ability to create a universe for the rest of the players to play in. A palace with hidden rooms and such sounds good, but it's not much to go on. 

Furthermore, in case you weren't aware yet, freeform RP's are currently no allowed as far as I know, so be sure to create a good system/rules/etc. or the mods will probably not approve your game. I found this article under the help&info section articles that might be useful.

Meh, since it's literally the second day this guy has been active, I presumed he probably didn't. 

The site guidelines were already linked and explained to him, in his recent forum games thread about a palace that got deleted for breaking site guidelines. That should be one rule he's very aware of at this point but, just as well you explained it again. I suppose one should never make assumptions about the learning ability of young CYStian children. (It's all that lead they keep finding in the water.)

(Or all the paste they keep eating. One of the two.)

What? Do you mean would a palace be a good SETTING for Role-Playing? Yeah, it could be, I suppose, though I'm certain I'm misunderstanding you.

Neuschwanstein is a pretty good palace for roleplaying.
