I hesitate to post here.  I am probably the senior of the group. (groans) Don't Shun me please. 

Due to my oldtimers mind, I have CRS. Which means, cant remember shit, but for me can't retain shit.  I understand my pages, and chapters and setting those up. I can not wrap my elderly noodle around variable and how to correctly input them accordingly.  I understand how they work in reference to gaming itself, but not specifically how to link them, the coding etc.  (sigh)

I don't like puppies, and I do like Cake.  FYI.  random thoughts fly out of my mouth. sort of like terete, useless, but very entertaining sometimes. 

Will anyone help this little old lady.  I promise to not fall asleep while you show me the ropes, and not talk about old things like Tape recorders, and Boom boxes, or the cabbage patch dance, or tootsie roll. I sort of just did. (smacks forehead) Okay, i won't bring up such old lady topics going forward. 

Thanks for responding. Yes, I have read them, and read them again.  I am having issues connecting it in my head.  I guess it would help you for me to tell you what I am trying to achieve so you can know what it is I need help with.  Apologies.  

I would like to create a story that uses the choices in the same way a personality test might.  You choose option A, then you get point added for your traits such as courage, or sensitive, or insensitive, and each of those have a running grand total that will ultimately lead to which personalty you are.  I am not creating a personality quiz, but for my brain, it is how i mentally see connecting the information. Its a concept i understand. Maybe there is a better way, and I am not grasping that?

I think I understand.  You framed it in a way I can wrap my head around.  I had a head injury some years ago, that caused me to have issued connecting new visual information.  It is very frustrating.  I was worried I would be stuck on this issue trying to comprehend.  I keep trying platforms, but i can not comprehend the information I am looking at.  It is very embarrassing.  Not every one is as patient as you were.  You explained it perfectly I think.  I will try it out now. Thank you.

late 30's yup, you got it right.  I don't feel like i am older than 21 most of the time, but my body and brain do not agree.  So unfair. 

I think the oldest person we've had on here is 60 something.

He hasn't been active in awhile, so he probably died of old age. However he managed to get his story featured on here before that happened so he obviously died a happy man.

i am so pleased to see all the twisted dark humor. i am laughing so hard, and thinking I am a bad person laughing about a dead guy being happy after writing his story. I am demented.  Good, that means I might die happy too. 

Sadly many do not even know what it is these days. let alone a record player.

Okay , i see what your saying.  Is there any post that might have images of examples of each step of the process.  For me I do better with pictures when following instructions.
