Well, I'm giving it a shot anyway. Need to go find out how to get a profile picture, how to write CYOA games, blah blah blah.

What is in the air that prompts banned noobs to immediately get back up and run headfirst straight into the brick wall over and over again? With mainstream social media, sure it'll happen, but it's fascinating how many cases there are on a niche intfic site.

lol, fag. With that being said the "negativity" you're seeing is all in good fun. Think 90s-style, Wild West Internet type fun. And if there's actual torches and pitchforks out against someone, it's because that someone was being an idiot of enormous proportions. Don't let the bluntness ward you off. It's refreshing to be in a writing community that isn't an echo chamber and isn't afraid to give real criticism. That's the only way to really learn and grow as a writer anyway. Welcome to CYS and have fun :)
