Has anyone here read the Dark Tower series? If so, who is your favorite character?

I've read a Dark Tower graphic novel. Does that count?

Well, there was Billy, the Billy-Bumbler.

Ah, yes. My favorite was Jake.

Don't really remember Jake. I wasn't too invested in the GN, but I found some concepts cool.

I know. It was hard to follow but cool.

Sadly, I've never read any of King's books. I've read bits and pieces from "Cell" and "Insomnia", but no more.

It is hard to follow through, but this is the only series that King wrote that I have finished.

you haven't really finished the dark tower until you've read All of king's books.  They're almost all connected- some a lot and some just a cameo or two.

The Roland books are a lot more fantasy-flavored than most of kings other stuff.  Try eyes of the dragon next, I think. 

I was pissed when X and Y turned out to be the same character.  I liked X, but not Y.
