Anyone ever read The First Law Series? If not, I very highly recommend. Definitely the best set of characters I've ever seen in a fantasy novel. I think that Sand dan Glokta may have just become my favourite fantasy character of all time. Very, very grim dark. Fans of EndMaster would approve. ^_^

I only just learned that there is a second trilogy in the same world! I knew it sounded familiar so I looked it up. It's been a while so I will probably read the first three again as a recap.

I'm only half way through the second book myself, but I can see myself getting addicted to the series, and pretty much anything ever written by Joe Abercrombie. :p
