An amazing storywriter if I must say. I am reading Great Expectations and David Copperfield right now, and it is very interesting, especially Great Expectations. For A Christmas Carol, I saw the play for that in drama class, not that I am in drama, but that it was shown for everyone.

Anyway, fantastic author. You must read his books!

I agree however it can get a bit boring at times for sure.

I doubt anyone on the site can disagree with this (that Dickens' stories are classic, not that they can "get boring at times").   If I had started my MAG literature forum-writing career with something like this, perhaps I would not have the image of an argumentative fool.

Yes, it can get boring at times, more likely for David Copperfield than Great Expectations.

I like Great Expectations so much more and yet David Copperfield is more famous...-_-

I haven't gotten around to reading any of his works except A Tale of Two Cities, but I probably will over the summer.  By the way, I said I was a fool because I started a fruitless novel versus trilogy debate on The Lord of the Rings shortly after coming to the site.
