Has anybody here read The Giver? I really like that book, and is my current favorite.

I don't remember much but we read some of it in grade 6 elementary.

Yeah, I've read it.  Pretty good.

(Y'know, I thought I knew exactly what happened at the end, but according to the Sparknote on it, some people think you could interpret the ending differently.  I think they're probably incorrect.)

By that one book by itself, yes, the ending can be interpreted two ways. But, if you combiine this book with the book Gathering Blue, and The Messenger, then the ending becomes obvious.
