It's ice from the most badass weapon in the game (The Cryolator, which can freeze enemies and also encases them in giant ass ice cubes if they're standing in a puddle, as seen in the video).

Looks like a pile of glitch.

I got a copy of Y: The Last Man from my cousin. Which is awesome, because I love Saga, and who knows when we'll get more of that.

Mostly I got to BE Santa, though... thirty-odd pounds of hardcover & trade paperback books, distributed by letting people take turns choosing. And my sister picked the one I would have picked for her, & loved it, and my cousin's new partner seemed super into it. So happy to see her with someone awesome, & serious enough to bring home for Christmas. ^_^
