So me and and my friend where having a discussion on human teleportation on human teleportation  he brought up the idea of having different bodies on different planets to transfer your mind. But wouldn't it be seprate people for each planet as each mind Is diffrent from one another. 

The difficulty in this is that there's no real plausible way to tell whether the mind was actually transmitted or not, because even if they share memories, the slightest hormonal difference can drastically alter behavior, thoughts, and personality.

Cracked had a fun article on this some time back. They suggested that from an approach based on scientific laws, a quasi teleportation system could work by disassembling the atoms of a person's body and creating a new body from atoms in the atmosphere of the place you want to go. Essentially, this means the original dies and a clone is made at the transfer site, since the two beings aren't made from the same atoms.

Anyway, I thought it was amusing, if kind of stupid.

How is it scientifically possible to dismember a human body at the atomic level. 

It's "scientifically" possible to create two perfect spherical objects just by marking points on one perfect spherical object and then cutting it and marking more points on part of the cut off spherical object. Don't question it.

Cracked was saying if it could be done - teleportation would work like a fax machine and not a mail system. I suppose I should have said 'would' work, not 'could'.

I don't believe it's possible to rebuild a person, so no teleportation in that regards. But perhaps we can see an almost-teleportation, being able to get people places within seconds with new technology?

Freaks me out everytime. Without considering a soul, each time you sleep you die. Yesterdays you is a new you. Good take it in stride, say that since you are a new you, you can succeed where yiu failed before, but still. Sleep is death guyz
