So for the last four days I've been receiving PMs from a noob. Communication was a bit of a struggle, as can be expected from a foreigner with developmental disabilities, but in time I came to figure out that by phrases such as 'is it a maze?" and 'does "next time will be better" exist?' and '9000?' what he was TRYING to say was something more like, 'I have been sitting here on the madlibs page of your date rape game, hitting refresh for two hours now while under the impression I'm being taken to new pages and the goal is to solve a puzzle of some kind.'
Eventually we got that sorted out, and he was praising my stories so I just put up with the fact that he could only formulate thoughts into a single sentence at a time and had started asking weird questions about who the 'Steve' mentioned in my profile was like some kind of jealous ex.
Then one morning I'm faced with this fresh new riddle: 'btw, are you CjP?'
I don't know, am I? I have no idea what that means and it didn't relate to anything previously talked about or arrive with any kind of context, because from the beginning of our torrid PM affair the assumption has been that I should be able to read minds.
And well anyway I forgot about it entirely since I received it at work at 4am and it made literally no impression at all. Except today he became persistent in knowing while still not explaining it and then got kind of bitchy in the process, and so I blew up at him in an attempt to stem the trickle of inane lower-cased non-sentences leaking into my inbox.
Now, I will never know. What is CjP? Google suggests it might be:
Canadian Journal of Psychiatry
Combined Jewish Philanthropies (Boston, MA)
Chief Justice of Pakistan
Commission on Judicial Performance (San Francisco, California)
Centre Jean Perrin (French health center)
Community Justice Program (San Antonio, TX)
Canadian Journal of Philosophy (est. 1971)
Complete Joint Penetration (welding)
Christlich-Jüdische Projekte (German)
Clinical Journal of Pain
Challenge Jeunes Pousses (French youth business competition)
Criminal Justice & Penology
Clermont Japon Pièces (French automotive parts company)
Club du Jeune Philatéliste (French: Junior Stamp Club; Morocco)
None of these make sense. Can someone please help me understand? Or perhaps you have ideas or suggestions of your own.
