It may be that your Rogues is in need of cleaning. Suggested cleaning supplies for the exterior of your Rogues would be a cleaning cloth, preferably microfiber, compressed air, and Isopropyl alcohol. Remove any cases or coverings, then wipe it down gently with the cleaning cloth, moist with alcohol. If you see any debris or dust, use the compressed air can to blow it out. This should create more opportunities for you and your Rogues to click.

First you must make sure you're actively using your brain cells. 

She technically was the first character I created 20 years ago when I first started thinking up CYOAs so she probably is.

Oh, but surely she's in the story somewhere, and you didn't have it plugged in correctly.

Remove the cartridge, then make sure to blow all the dust out, optionally replacing it with an equal volume of spittle, before slamming it back into the console. Then restart Rogues.
