Ever Been Chased By A Dinosaur

This is my second entry for EndMaster's Prompt Contest 2026, based on the prompt "a story where the protagonist seeks a living example of something long thought extinct".

You play as Evan, a CyberTube content creator with a mission to achieve internet fame. Your plan is simple:
 

1. Explore a top-secret island where dinosaurs roam freely
2. Capture footage of yourself sneaking around and carrying out dares
3. Upload your adventures in an award-winning video titled "Ever Been Chased By A Dinosaur

Despite your subpar survival skills and nearly non-existent dinosaur knowledge, you've established a well-known brand from performing stupidly daring challenges (or daringly stupid, depending on who you ask). So, you're confident that this video will be a success.

After all, what could go wrong? It's not like dinosaurs are carnivores...right?

Legend of the Folklore Fish

This is my entry for EndMaster's Prompt Contest 2026, based on the prompt "a story that involves an underwater adventure". At the start, you can choose to play from one of two perspectives; each one presents a different narrative.

This story is inspired by Japanese folktales. It is intentional that both versions of the legend are different. My recomendation if you want to play both sides of the story is that you read Kaito's perspective first and Nagisa's after, but the choice is yours.

I do not wish to start another thread because there are many but I will address some comments here.

@Benholman the hint page has scripting. If you die and reset, you can find a hint there depending on how you died, it is a joke that it is empty at first ! Some other story games on the site have options where you can repeat the same link many time like "Tower of Riddles" but nothing happens. It is my intention to add that if you re-click the link often, you get a hint on the page.

The dare being pointless, that is the point, the story is a parody of what content creators do when attempting to be amusing for an audience. All your feedback seem only to be the initial parts of the game; I can see why Mizal says you are skim reading.

@Anthraxus the quicksand is bypassed with the Land Rover-saurus, maybe I should have made clearer. I wanted some tricky parts like in Gryphon's game "Ruins of Anzar". Thanks for the review, I will implement next time, it is appreciated.

I pity them, they are poisoned by envy and consigned to their pre-determined worthlessness. At least others like Clayfinger I can respect for trying.

I concede you can win the thunderdome, it is not my strength to write with time pressure. My story is better than the last so I believe there is a possibility it be commended. Bias was a joke but you are too blind with anger to see; it is a sore spot for you?

I am updating this thread. The second stage of my plan has been complete. It is time for the third, it will be my final story of this contest !!

The old wardens are languishing in lazyness as usual. Clayfinger begged the mods for a commendation, he overtook me because Mystic_Warrior seem to be supporting him, that is bias ! Never mind, I will have my next game commended and triumph over him again ｼ
