Killa doesn't really come around the site anymore, but I had contacted him to let him know Clayfinger left him an awesome review.

He did notice though that after all this time, it still didn't have the 50 ratings needed for a proper ranking. He put a ton of work into all the fancy formatting tricks back in the day, and it's just a feeeeew short of 50.

Honestly, Koi Koi was a masterpiece. It was my pleasure to play it. I revisited the game after leaving a review just to play arcade mode because the actual game was fun as hell. Highly recommend that everyone try it. :D

Actually, while we are on this topic, I also wanted to point out that the "Top Storygames of 2025" is a weird page to look at lmao.

Speaking of Koi Koi, how? Just how?! Is that scripting? Well, obviously there was a lot but how did he/she make it glow when your mouse is on it?

(side note: this is a bit of a nitpick but largely repeated npc lines made the game a bit more boring)

Put this in the pagescript. You can change the color by changing the RGB values.

technically, {} are called braces not pointy brackets. And when not called brackets they're usually called curly brackets instead of pointy brackets.

Ooooo, I have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Buckle up, kiddos, it's story time! (A short one, I'd admit, but still)

When I was around nine years old, I had a lot of friends who were playing Fortnite, and I wanted to see what all the hype surrounding it was about. When I went to sign up, I had grand delusions that I would immediately win every match and be known as a harbinger of death everywhere I went. However, all the different spellings of "Inascapeable Death" were taken, so I was forced to use "UnscapeableDeath." And, since that was my first username, I took a liking to it, and haven't changed it since. (Except for one time, but that doesn't really count in my opinion.)
