Questions about a storygame? Thoughts on Eternal? Any other IF you're playing out there?

Seth's new story

Well, I finally published another storygame.   If you'd like to play it, I'd like to hear what you thought of it.

It's an edutainment story based on a Russian folk tale, and therefore it's fairly linear.

I really liked it. I said in comments that I didn't find it linear, but then I played again and got further into the game, and it was more linear. However, I thought the writing was better than a lot of the stuff I've read on this web site. (Sorry, not trying to insult other people here) I'm not saying it was the best of the writing on the website, but I thought it was really good and worth people reading, and I'm looking forward to reading more from you.

I loved it. An easy eight out of eight, even if it wasn't your own story, you depicted it perfectly.

Thanks!  I got fed up with the advanced editor (see my posts on the bugs & problems forum) and just decided to write a classic editor story.

oh, in case anyone cares: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Tsarevich_and_the_Grey_Wolf shows the original story I based the game on.

Yes, indeed.  Not as good as The Firebird (at least, that's my opinion)

Creature is a maze game.  Very simple, very little plot, mostly to work on using that darn advanced editor that continues to give me problems.

Strong work, Seth, especially on the Russian folk tale. I'd tend to agree with tsmpaul's comments.
