So, after a small argument with Derpino about him remaking Wolf Heart a while back, I decided to make a storygame with the idea I suggested. I don't have a title right now, but for now the story will be called Project Wilson. After slacking off for a little bit, I decided to re-write the first page. Anyway, here's the first page so I can get some suggestions and criticism (It needs some work, though):
You're on your way to England, to see your cousins, whom you haven't seen in about ten or so years. The plane just left New York about an hour ago, and you're flying over the Atlantic right now. Drinking from your glass, you think of your sister, Sasha, who had to take another plane. You're her brother, named John Patrick (which is frequently shortened to J.P.) Grant, often just called by your last name. You and your sister are from England, though you moved to America at the age of 13; which was when you last saw your cousins. You're 23 now, and here you are going back home...
Taking a sip from your glass, the plane begins shaking, and the captain says "We're experiencing some slight turbulence; please, stay in your seat until it passes." The captain's words make you grip your glass tighter. "Red..." You don't understand why the word comes to mind, yet you say it anyway. Again, the plane shakes and your glass falls out of your hand and onto the floor. "Red..." You mutter once again.
The plane shakes once again... And the wind rips the side of the plane off. Several people are sucked out of the plane and fall to their doom, yet you hold onto your chair for dear life. The plane begins going down, and moments before it crashes into the ocean, you let go of the chair and get sucked out the side of the plane that was ripped off. "REEEEEEEED!" With that, you hit the ice cold water. Your body begins to sting after hitting the water, but you have no time to shout in pain as the plane is about to fall right on you.
With that you swim away as fast as you can, and you manage to get a good ten or so feet away before the plane crashes where you once were; and the splash is enough to cover you in water. You're pulled around twenty feet down by the water, which also brings you closer to the side of the plane. Though, as you attempt to swim back up, it seems you're not going up at all- you're still being pulled down! You look back at the sinking plane, and notice your shirt was caught by a once open window, which is now shut. With that, you swim to the window to free yourself, but you're also losing oxygen... As you pull, you grow tired and your vision begins to fade. Mustering up all the strength you can, you pull harder and harder and...
You're freed from the window! Just narrowly avoiding death was enough to give you the strength and adrenaline to swim up, and upon getting your head above water you inhale deeply. In the distance, there is an island, which may just be your last chance at survival (Well, unless you want to freeze to death)... But do you swim towards it at a fast or slow pace?
Swim Fast
Go Slow
Like I said, it needs work. So, what do you guys think so far?
