Directing my frustrating mind

Hello, I'm Steve. I need some people's opinions, because my mind is literally consuming itself as my attention flickers constantly. I'm currently unable to start Achilles III because some, unnamed person is being a dick (@Chase223) and focusing more on unimportant stuff like Real Life or Studying like a twat. Hence, I need to focus on a new project until then, but I'm really stuck between these three, and I'm unable to do what a lot of people do and work on multiple topics at once. so if you could help me out, that'd be much appreciated.

Dawnwood: This is my Horror Story where you take control of a young teenager who moves from the big city to a small town in the south. It includes encounters with a horrifying monster that roams the woods, the ghost of a long tormented rancher, an ex-Nazi doctor and a hidden Lovecraftian Cult.

Underhive: This is my Sci-Fi story where you take control of a young adult in a futuristic dystopian world where the upper classes control almost everything and the lower classes live in the lower levels of the skyscraper like cities and have no control, and a war/massive riot emerges between the upper-class controlled police, a far-left group of protestors, a group of democratic, reasonable freedom fighters mixed in with criminals and a Robot Faction, any of which you can join.

A Wandering Behemoth: This is my Fantasy story, inspired by Anime (Yeah, I know... I'm sorry) that involves you taking control of an amnesiac giant called a Titan, knowing nothing but in a feudal-type world where Titans are terrible, warring creatures that rule over vast swathes of the populace. Become a lone wanderer, a guardian of the people, reclaim your role as dictator or more.

So yeah, tell me what you think, what' you'd like to see, what you hate, what you think I should do, or yell at me. Everything helps.

Dawnwood sounds really interesting. Will it be more of an adventurous style horror where you're fighting all this stuff, or the kind of setting where this stuff is just happening and the only practical response is to curl up in a fetal position and whimper for mommy, keeping a journal of your descent into madness and then writing a detailed account of the mind destroying horror even as it's shambling right toward you?

My second favorite would be Underhive. Liiiittle bit of a cliche at first glance maybe, but I'm sure you could make it work. The only issue is that it looks like it would be a massive undertaking, and I'd rather you put a new story out sooner rather than later.

Oh, you will do no fighting. You will cry and try to hide. I was thinking more Creepypasta, kids in small town getting murdered to shit type horror. Personally, I've always found that once you can kill one of the horrifying monsters coming towards you they're not nearly as scary. Like how zombies were once a terrifying thing that was impossible to kill, and now we'd love them to rise just so we could kill the shit out of them.

I will also admit Underhive's setting is a fair bit of a cliche with the whole class system, but I think we've reached a point where it's a legitimate setting you can borrow like Tolkien's Orcs, Elves and Dwarves in a Medieval World. Or at least, even if it's not, yoink.

You've mentioned Dawnwood before, and it peaked my interest. Your brief description sounds pretty awesome, and I'm a big fan of dark fantasy and horror. I'd vote that you work on that first, but you should write whichever interests you the most. You're the one doing the writing after all.

I did try doing what I was interested in most, but I would literally be mid-sentence and decide the other project's more interesting and change to that.

I'd read any of those, but I'll vote Dawnwood

I’m still not entirely convinced that Chase isn’t the alter ego you made up in your deranged mind.

Anyway, Underhive or Dawnwood.

Leaning towards Dawnwood. Underhive does sound a bit cliche, but the name also sounds like Necromunda fanfic…which actually wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to make fanfic about.

I'm still not entirely convinced that everyone isn't an alter ego I made up in my deranged mind.

And yeah, it is a fair bit Necromunda and Paranoia inspired.

Chase223-

Steve24833-

Steve and Chase are both male names.

24833 and 223 are very similar numbers. The only difference is that the 2/3 ratio is flipped and 4 and 8 have been simply put in the middle.

Also why is it that we have barely ever seen Chase online?

So, in conclusion, Steve and Chase are Illuminati Confirmed.

But, also I think Dawnwood is a good idea.

Obviously, Chase is far too busy thinking of new ways to punish Steve.
