Step 1: Create the storygame, it's a hassle, I know, but you have start somewhere.
?Step 2: Decide on the main characters. You can ignore this rule and make a captivating storygame about a lamp choosing whether to turn on or not or maybe even about a shower deciding between that it is above washing the filth of our bodies or dutifully doing it's job.
?Step 3: Come up with a decent plot for those characters. After all, The Hero, The Dragon and the Princess can't just simply stand around doing nothing, nobody likes that(then again, the internet is a big place so maybe there are people who like that.
?Step 4: Introduce some side characters to freshen up the story, after all, the hero can't have all the spotlight. Plus, we all know that the hero needs some side characters to die to make him kill the dragon.
?Step 5: Develop the characters, even the side characters, we don't need clichéd cardboard cutout characters, we're making a storygame after all, we'll leave the cardboard to the guys doing stopmotion animation, we all know they need them.
?Step 6: Set a number of pages as a goal, not too short as to overlook the main character's clichéd backstory, but not too long either, we don't need twenty pages on Mindy the Bakers secret recipe, we just need a piece of bread from her.
?Step 7: Start writing. This is the most important part and there will be many casualties during this(like your fingers and all that coffee and your poor keyboard), but you mustn't let that discourage you, once you are done with your epic masterpiece, the children of the ones who died for this will sing praises to their parents for sacrificing themselves for the betterment of all literature.
?Step 8: End it well. Do not attempt to have a surprise ending in which the dragon says that he is the hero's father and that the princess is his daughter, you'll have the readers and the characters boo you for the rest of your life and you will have to live in shame.
?Step 9: This is optional, but you could add a few cameos here and there to make the game more enjoyable, who knows, maybe one of these characters will be worthy of their own story one day.
?Step 10: This is the most important one of all. Make sure you have fun making this, because we all know you can't force yourself to write a good story if you don't enjoy it yourself, though you could force @Steve24833 to write one if you shut him in your basement with several pens and a couple pieces of paper.
?Is this good enough for you, my friend, or is this all but gibberish as well?
