Sci-fi or Fan-fic?

Im making a fanfiction that is based in a really sci-fi universe. Im wondering if the fanfiction part of it overpowers the sci-fi part.

If it's a fanfic, it will be placed in the fanfiction category regardless of what's in there.

Yup. Fanfic always beats all else. Don't even get me started on all those stupid WC story games appearing in "Modern adventure"'and "fantasy" >.>

I get started when WC storygames appear anywhere.

Generally, to my knowledge, the system works like this, with Tier 1 beating out all other tiers, Tier 2 beating Tier 3 and that.

Tier 1: Fanfiction

Tier 2: School-Based

Tier 3: Puzzle, Horror, Edutainment

Tier 4: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Modern

Tier 5: Everything Else

Wouldn't Edutainment be above School-Based? If a game's main goal is to teach you something, then that would probably override everything besides Fan-Fiction regardless of the game's setting.

So it'd be like this:

Tier 1: Fanfiction

Tier 2: Edutainment

Tier 3: Puzzle, Horror, School-Based

Tier 4: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Modern

Tier 5: Everything Else

I'd have to agree with that. We've moved some games that took place mostly in a school into Edutainment, if I'm not mistaken... Or it was the other way around. I'm not rememberal.

Yeah, I suppose you're right.
