Fallen Land Lore (Season 2) on 8/13/2025 10:34:27 PM
Ezekiel woke with a sudden start and inhaled sharply. Where was he? What was going on? Was everyone okay? The last thing he remembered was...
He brushed a hand against his forehead, where the steel rim of a pistol was just there. There was no wound present, no marks, just a small stretch of clean skin. Dirt wasn't even smudged where the wound should have been. Was he dead? Ezekiel looked around at the flat stretch of dusty terrain before him. No, this wasn't heaven. Heaven was much, much nicer. Unless, he was wrong... and he didn't end up on the right side of the afterlife.
No, he thought, and laughed. That was impossible.
But if he wasn't in heaven, and there was no way he landed in hell, then... he was alive. How? He remembered the bloody battle leading up to his demise. He remembered watching the light die from his brothers and sisters as they fell one by one by the hand of the wasteland's dominant powers. He certainly remembered the gun placed coldly against his temple and the disdainful stare of the faction's leaders as they brought him to his knees.
Traitor, they called him, right before they shot him executioner style. There was no sympathy in their eyes as they did, not for the acolyte of the Taskmaster.
Ezekiel fell to the floor, his head placed flat against the cold ground as he started sobbing uncontrollably into his arms. He was alive for a reason, and it wasn't because any of those wasteland encroacher's had pity. God wanted him alive.
Ezekiel took a deep breath, gathered his wits and stood.
Ambition had clouded his judgment before, but he was a new man now. God had granted him a second chance. He would rebuild his colony from the ground, and raise it to be better than it was before. One that uncultivated infidel scum wouldn't be able to touch. With a new resolve settled in his heart, he marched forth through the desolate landscape.

SEASON FINALE - CYS Colony Simulator Part 10 on 7/29/2025 3:49:36 AM
What a great first season! I'm so glad that we were able to participate in the journey via voting and our own little colonists! It was often uncanny just how much our colonist's actions and words mimicked our human selves. And thank you for making this, Sherb! You're little quips and commentary was the best. I often had to clamp my hand over my mouth in public because it was making me laugh, haha.
Here's to another great season! Yahoo!

CYS Colony Simulator Part 5 on 7/8/2025 4:03:05 PM
Our little colony has grown so much! Hooray for raiding! I vote option A for 1, and option A for 2. No more dead animals stinking up our living spaces. :)
CYS Colony Simulator Part 3 on 7/4/2025 3:46:50 AM
What an amusing turn of events. I'm sure they all fell into place without any preparation or machinations on my part whatsoever. I mean, who poisons their colony members as a ploy to play hero and gain favor? Absurd!
As for the vote, I choose C and B. Now that we have a good food supply, we should focus on upgrading our settlement to protect from any possible raids (or raids we might do in the future). A couple of dinos won't hurt, either.
