Player Comments on Reanimation.

While people criticize this game for its lack of significant choices, I feel it provides a lot of important backstory for the Homo Perfectus series. One thing that does bother me is the lack of description on dead end pages. Continuing pages are somewhat longer and more verbose, while dead end pages are short, choppy and usually fail to explain much more than "you died." Still, I think this is a great game. 6/8

Not bad.

You had good spelling and plenty of options. Plus, the story was original and engaging. Nothing like trying to hunt down and kill a monster right?

But, I had a problem with the options and the final confrontation. Most of the "choices" I had led to death, with very little hints to show me where and what to do. Also, I was hoping for a better fight with the monster. I was expecting it to be an epic showdown but it kind of fell short.

Overall, it's not the best I've played but certainly not the worst.

Better than your average zombie story, this could definitely have benefited from three things. Primarily, a plot and some characterization would be nice. Secondarily, this should be done with the advanced editor since it's more story than game it could have been bolstered by the usage of the AE features. Finally, I noticed a dead page (trying to shoot the abomination) and your prose, while simplistic and good, lacks any kind of flair or flow.

Honestly, I was disappointed. I love the Homo Perfectus series and when seeing you were the author in this, I got excited, but when playing, I found it very dull. We don't even know who the main character is.

kinda too many options so that you die right away. you want people to be able too survive so its fun.

Other than that its well made.

If longer, I may have rated it higher. I got the selfish ending. In RL, I am in a wheelchair so I choose answers that would relate to my disability. I would love for people to make these for disabled people, like Susannah in Stephen King's books. Fun!!!

Make a more varied of choices. I felt like it was "choose path 1 or 2" and then it was "Correct or not correct choice". Other than that I liked the storyline and the base of the game.

Kind of cool, incomplete though.

But, as it turns out, this is linked to the Homo Perfectus series! I won't say more, because of spoilers, but it's awesome.

I got the sacrifical ending. I noticed when I was fighting the abomination, I poured liquid on him, then I pressed shoot at him, and it was a page with no writing on.

Not bad, but could definitely use some work.

I liked the description and explanation, but having choices that kill you (like choosing the wrong door) without being told about any sounds or sights or smells is basically gambling.

By the way, I give your spelling and grammar a thumbs up as a last note.

The plot was interesting, the writing was lazy, the death endings were lazy and the official ones were not great.

Great! Every other link leads to death. Even though I know that people improve, it is hard to believe that this is the same person who wrote Homo Perfectus 8.

I really don't like playing games that have a death choice on the first page.

It was good just too short if you need any advice as a Sci fi writer myself i may be able to help.

It was kind of entertaining, and I only detected one spelling error. Which means you either did very well in that respect or I'm slipping :) . Fuss is spelt like that, not with zs.

Nice story , Nice plot . Just needs to be a tad longer and more descriptive. Images would top it off

it was simple,and fun,and i liked it.i did run into an unfinished page,and i didnt like how quickly it ended.
other than that,it was fun

i got the heroic ending and the sacrificial ending im just saying it could have let me try even though it wouldn't have worked, awsome job though. you work realy fast.

@ugilick-in one of the other endings, you explore a little more about the Abomination and it turns out that he is virtually immune to bullets.

If anyone didn't get the story then you probably just didn't explore that branch of the story. Only one ending really explains everything.
