I find it intriguing there's this whole other category of fantasy here. What is it that makes a storygame grimdark? I understand the basic idea but are there any hard rules to know how to categorize a game? And would a realistic and gritty medieval type fantasy count for instance?

The message said to say hi, so hi. I've been wanting to experiment with this kind of story and this seemed like a good site for it. No promises that anything I write will be good, but I've had some practice with short stories. My favorite is sci fi, fantasy and horror.
