I mean if you're having custom names that can't be preset then yeah, that's the way.

There is, but Brad or BZ or someone would have to explain that one. Or maybe @chumm Giving the player a box to enter in a name is easy, I'm just not sure how you'd go about referencing it in the game itself.

Even this has an updated version that's better, but I forgot what repo it's in and I'm pretty sure the instructions for the newer version are more difficult to follow.
