It could possibly be the fact that only JPEG and GIF (I think) files can be uploaded onto the website. Here are some solutions I wrote a while ago, but I'll write them again.

1. Save the pictures to your computer and open them in paint. From there on in you click on "File" and go down to "Save As". When you are saving it, make sure that it is saved as a .gif or .jpeg file. You can find the part where you change it from one type of file to another just under where you type in the name you want to give the picture on paint.

2. Second you can just use the picture address altogether by using the html:

<img src="URL HERE" alt="MESSAGE HERE*">

* The message in the alt is pretty much what comes up when you hover your mouse over the picture. For example, when you hover the mouse over the Choose Your Story logo, it'll come up with "Logo".

Of course, this would be taking the picture directly from the website's bandwith (or some internetty word like that) which means they would have to pay more. So if you would rather save that person some money and you some trouble, save the picture into paint and then upload it to an image hosting service on the internet (such as Image Shack) and then use the html from there.
