I've been thinking it must be realy hard to keep track of all different threads related to one game, take rising mages for example, they have 5 or 6 different threads for OOC, and a few more threads for different events in there RP, wouldent it be alot easier if when you enter the forum games section, see all games, and which games are looking for players and give The game there own section? 

Take this as an example: Random game looking for players--->random game signup/random game OOC/random game start. 

As opposed to forum games and see all games OOC, all games signup, all games RP aspects.  Would be alot easier and would help you keep track of all the games you are playing.

Actually, there is only one active rp thread of rising mages and one OOC thread. I don't know if you were talking about the clutter of old threads.

Hmm.. One active yes, but im guessing ans correct me if im wrong, that the rest of them are hiding in the older threads, this would not just make it easier to find(should you need to re-read something) but it also makes it alot easier for these guys:

and, while am at it, i am also going to suggest archiving older threads/games after XX period of inactivity so one does not hafto go knee-deep in old threads. And why not add a search bar you are searching for something specifik on the site? 

These are just my ideas, now the admins are free to do whatever they please with them :)

I'm just going to go ahead and bump this to see what more people would think.

There is a search function. If you look under the forums link you'll see a "search" button.

There could be seperate little vignettes of links to show how many threads are related to a game, and to put them in order of creation so a newcomer could catch up on the story, but an AI doing that could make several catactrophic errors, and it's work I doubt mods would want to waste their precious time doing while the next Bob or Lelouch could be just around the corner.

Yea, ive seen that thread. Though what im suggesting is when you enter forum games you see a list of all games, with active games at the top. Then say i click brazzers game deluxe, now i see brazzers guygirl 1-5, brazzers guygirl OOC 1-3. This should make it easier.

OOC: sorry, had to put some kind of humour in there, which resulted in using brazzers^^

now, why did i put OOC there.. Damn.

Did you know that until 2011 or so, all forum games were played in the lounge? Imagine the jumble of posts...

Not really.  Take it from the eye-witness himself, it wasn't hard to differentiate between game and topic.

Primary because games were far rarer than they are now....

And most weren't RPs....

But I think if we could somehow use Uliqicks* Forum-Game watcher-micthingee to sort out all the games it would be easier to avoid the clutter. New games would have their own little section in the FG-W and would be archived or erased if they didn't kick off.

* Yes I did forget how to spell his name and I'm to lazy to go find the correct spelling.

We need a function like this

Everything should be listed inside the Original Posters thread, like that. Boom problem solved EVERYONE IS HAPPY!
