I would love to be able to upload some great quality pictures for a storygame, but the 100,000 byte limit really puts a dent on my dreams of creating a largely pictorial base storygame. 100,000 bytes and below seems to be setting the setting the standards really low. Anything of good quality takes up a lot more than 100,000 bytes, and I find that reducing the quality of an image to keep it below 100,000 bytes is not worth it uploading the image at all. Is there be a way for all users to upload high quality pictures without the byte limit?

Time to invest in a Photobucket account haha!

(Serously, you can post pics from hosting sites into your storygames. Like this - - - )

Yeah, I moved to photobucket during the mustache wars. Only use the site's when it's for an avatar.

How do you actually post a picture in the forums? I've been trying to figure out how to use photobucket for that.

Note that you'll also want to be familiar with sizing your pics (nobody likes a scroll bar) - to do that, just right click on it and set the width etc. Also you can use %'s.

For example:

Yours = <p><img height="527" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-DDbDOkUwah4/UoBMH6t5S8I/AAAAAAAANB0/abIKhKYEXLs/w2048-h1778/Ultraviolet_image_of_the_Cygnus_Loop_Nebula_crop.jpg" width="609" /></p>

Mine = <p><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-DDbDOkUwah4/UoBMH6t5S8I/AAAAAAAANB0/abIKhKYEXLs/w2048-h1778/Ultraviolet_image_of_the_Cygnus_Loop_Nebula_crop.jpg" width="55%" /></p>

Photobucket is awful; use tinypic. At it's core, it's the same thing (a image hosting website/service, but unlike Photobucket, no registration is required), and you won't ever have you're images do this:

Why wouldn't you just save and then upload said picture to your own Photobucket long before they move or delete it?
