Suggestions for improvements and additions to the site.
This feature was rejected 9/18/2005: Not bad idea, but just not something worth spending ttime on programming.

You should be able to appear offline to all users except Admins.  You could have a button at the bottom which takes your name off the Online counter.  It should be a member only thing.

then many people would do that and there would be no use for the whos online.

Just asking.  Put it in this situation.

I wanna work on my game but people keep talking to me and know I'm online. I click the button and go back to working on my game.  Simple as that.

Or, it could be a block.  YES, it should make that one person not be able to see your online.

A good way to this is to say there are 5 members online. Name, Name, Name, 2 are hidden.

yes OR, have a little check box on top of every members anme and it starts checked, if you uncheck it then that member cant see ur online, not sure how hard that is though.

Why not just disable PMs during the time you don't want to receive them?

True, but what if you want to be recieving and posting to other members except that one.   By the way, I'm not really arguing just trying to open possiblitys.

Oh yah, we can disable PMs in our account. Has anyone ever gone onto Myspace.com. That is a great place to advertise for free.

Understand. Right now it's not a high enough priority to warrant programming time on.

As for the obnoxious members, just ignore their messages. It's by far easier for you to delete a message than it is for them to write it. They will tire of it soon. And if it gets really bad, let me know and I'll consider a ban.

sounds great, just like you said, they spend 15 minutes making a HATE game and you 2 seconds to delete it!
