It would be helpful to move out tons of old space in the lounge and make people realize what the newbie central is if you change it to question central.  The one shot spot to get your question awnsered.  Why didn't many people awnser to posts in 03 cuase about 2/5 are 0 replies and 2/5 are 1 to 2 replies also.  We always exceed that now.

lol, why not have a new forum, newbies need space, so why not jsut add a question forum?

It would be a great place for anyone to look for awnsers for questions on the editor.

we already have forums for Questions on the editor and a forum for Newbies. dividing it up even more would just be a waste really. maybe alex should just make the descriptions of the forums more "pronounced". that way its easier to see which forum you need to post in.

Mabey putting it all together would help and renaming it Question Central.  It would be a nice place to put solos Can We Archive The Message Board stuff.

see what i thought, and alex has already heard this, is that we organise the forums into sub sections.

For example

News and Updates
FWW
Bugs and Problems

would all go under The Site heading etc.

I wont go into too much detail as it takes long.

I PM him alot of times. Once i PMed him 4 ideas that all got rejected, thus the reason why i dont like posting the ideas.

Yah, but my idea is kind of old.  Just look up the word S E C T I O N.  The spaces are so the word dosen't show up.

OK I'm confused -- what's the "official" request now? I'm all about changing the description on the forums. But I'm not just yet convinced about reenmaing newbiew central (what if someone want sto say "Hi, I'm new to the site!") -- that's not a question, and totally appropriate.

Yah, but there is a general forum.  They can post there.  I'm not a newbie but I sometimes post questions there.

I think I'll redo the entire Common Abreviations post so that it is one.  Of course I'll ask if I can put it all under one instead of all those posts.  Mabey you could turn that into a list on some page and put a question to it on the FAQ which I can't find as of yet.
