Ability to upload any picture - or well very loose restrictions. For users with 1000+ points, oubviously.

Ya but, its something to strive for and it means that those people who are without a doubt helping the site can upload larger pictures to do it.

March wanted this feature a loooong time ago, well before MAG Points. However, the restrictions exist as a benefit to the PLAYER.

Large file-size formats (BMP) download really slowly (sucks for dialup) and offer no better image quality over GIF/JPG.

Large-dimensioned pictures mess up the layout of the game page and make it distorted, etc. Not a good experience for the player.

However, once we move to the new technology platform (.NET), I will be easily able to write code to resize and change BMP to GIF when you upload it. This is not possible in the current technology (ASP).
