It would be helpful for games like the cave to have it so that you can hide varibles and items.  Any changes you made to it still stay but until you take the status:hidden off,  you can't edit it because it dissapears off every page but gets added to a new page called hidden variables where you can take off the status known as hidden.  Does this make sense?

Basically it is add a status known as hidden!

Status:  Hidden
Effect:  Takes varible or item off all pages that you can edit it on w/o changing any past things and puts it on it's own page depending whether it is an item or not.
How to Negate Effect:  On the varibles page there will be a page called hidden varibles that takes you to a page that lists all hidden varibles.  There is only one button on the side of the varible and that is to take the status off of the varible.  (Add "and items" after any varible words.

Why?

When you refer to "you" in the text -- do you mean the "Author" or the "player"? I assume Author.

Is it to make the editing easier, so you dont have to sift through 100's of varaibles and items on the restrictions pop-up?

You are correct. This is for big games mainly or varibles that you aren't using.  I can already tell it would take a ton of programming so if you don't want to do it you don't have to.  I would like it though.
