Do you think it could be possible if you put down short descriptions of prominent members? For example, SindriV. On his members page at the top, something like this could be written:

Author of the Homo Perfectus series, one of which is featured in the Sci Fi section.

You could write something like that for members you think contribute to the site a lot.

Or how about we allow each member to write something interesting about them self?

But then we can get arrogant people who might say "I'm awesome and the best writer on here!" when in reality they are not.

And if you mean my idea isn't really useful, sorry about that. It was just a thought I had.

Don't get me wrong I love your idea. Well if someone says I'm the best writer on the site, let them say it I guess. People will be able to tell the author isn't a great writer once they read the author's stories.

If we're writing it about ourselves, why not just keep it as is with the profile blurb.

Your right about that. It would be pointless.

What I was thinking of was if the founders of the site or the admins, mods, or the council could decide that a certain person deserved recognition for something and then put that on their profile to be kind.

We could, it would just seem nice to have a quick little text box when looking at a list of people without clicking on their profile.

I can see the merit.
