Kill Dr. Lucky II!

Why do all mystery games start just after all the fun is over?

Welcome to Lucky mansion, a rambling country estate seven miles north of nowhere. It's a stormy midsummer's evening, ten seconds after midnight - and someone's just shut off the lights.

You have hated Doctor Lucky for as long as you can remember, and you've been secretly awaiting this perfect chance to do the old man in. Maybe he destroyed your dry cleaning business; maybe you think he's the leader of the vampires. Perhaps he's the only person standing between you and the family fortune. Or maybe his cat just keeps peeing in your shrubs. Whatever your reason, it's good enough to push you over the edge. And now you absolutely can't wait to take the lying old bastard down.

And, though you don't know it, everyone else in the house wants to kill him too.

Take a deep breath. Remember why you're here. And then start sneaking around in the dark. If you run across a weapon, grab it, if you bump into Doctor Lucky, give him hell.

Trying to kill Doctor Lucky is pretty easy, as long as no one's looking. But they don't call him "Doctor Lucky" for nothing. He's got an uncanny knack for slipping out of harm's way. Don't despair; after enough tries, you're guaranteed to wear the old codger down. You just need a clever plan, a good bluff, and a little more luck than everyone else.

So gather in the Drawing Room and get cracking. Somebody's going to kill Doctor Lucky tonight, and it might as well be you.

CURRENT

A young man, in a soldier uniform enters the servant's quarters scanning even the smallest detail.

ROUND 1

Everyone can go ahead and post (In-Character in this Thread) which Room (any one of them) they are moving into to Search. You can also move into a Hallway or Stairs, but cannot Search in them =)

Also, feel free to introduce your Character (in-character) if you like. You can all be strangers or know one another - up to you...

Callum twitches, a mad grin spread across his face. 

"Momma always said for me to be polite..."

An impossibly large grin grows even larger.

"Hello, friends. I'm Callum. Hehehehaha!"

"Only one place to go, I suppose." Aman mutters, as he heads inside the master suite. 

An old, grumpy, militaristic looking man walks into the mansion.

"Hmm, I wonder what Lucky has been reading lately" Tanstaafl grunts as he makes his way to the library.

A young built man steps out of the shadows and speaks up.

"I think i'll explore the old man's trophy room. It will give me some more insight to what he was doing as a younger fellow. You can all call me Fireplay."

You notice you can't see his face due to his hat covering it. As he walks away you swear he was saying something about a bonfire.

Callum walks sperratically into the sitting room. 

Daedalus with his wax wings makes his way to the kitchen.

ROUND 1

As everyone moves out and searches some of the Rooms of the creepy old Mansion, Claw2k11 hears someone puttering around outside in the Hedge Maze. Could this be Doctor Lucky?

It's been 14 hours...

He was sleeping so I was lucky enough to get extra time.

Well, fortunately for Fireplay, he sent me a PM for what he wants to do – though why he didn’t just post it here, I don’t know… So I’ll paraphrase it -

---

Fireplay finds a shield in the trophy room. He quickly begins banging on it to get Dr. Lucky's attention (Playing Trophy Room Card on Dr. Lucky to get him in Trophy Room).

Once the old man arrives, Fireplay Lures him towards the green house (Using Luring Rules to go Drawing Room > Parlor > Carriage House > Piazza > Greenhouse – to get +4 Cards and a Murder Attempt in the Greenhouse).

Once in the Greenhouse, Fireplay tries to Poke Dr. Lucky in the eye!

ROUND 1.5

So - that's a Murder Attempt!

Everyone now has  6-8 hours to respond with Failure Cards. You all only need to spend 1 BTW - it shouldn't be too hard haha!

I'll use my 1 point.

*facepalm*

OOC: What? *he asks not knowing what he just did*

OOC: Only one of us needs to spend... *smacks claw*

OOC: Needs, but I want to spend too, it makes me feel important! *Claw says punching Naru back*

*Chuck norris comes in, blocks with his beard, shattering claws hand, then stops claw's heart with pure awesomeness.*

OOC: *facepalm* I'm a lich, I don't have a heart

*Your heart still stops. Then claw explodes with the force of a supernova, and Naru and chuck just stand there epically.*

OOC:*Bigger facepalm* let's continue the game, shall we?

Um... yeah, Once enough Failure Cards are played, (1 in this case), you don't need to spend any more - but if you really want to, I can delete one from your Card Hand - just let me know...   ^v^

As Fireplay is about to 'finger bang' Dr. Lucky's eyes out - the good Doctor realizes that he left some crepes on the stove.

"Ooh! I mustn't let my crepes burn," he informs Fireplay and hurries away just before Fireplay can get close enough to poke him!

Murder Foiled!

ROUND 2

On to Round 2 - everyone now has 6-8 hours to post which Room they are moving to search this Round  :) 

Daniel now goes into the White Room checking every detail.

"I'm hungry. Time to raid the fridge!" 

He moves to the kitchen.

"`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves, 
"Bid gil and gribbeled outwighed
"All lipsies were the loser groves,
"And mustache wrath outplayed."

The mustached man sings, as he shakes his head. 

"Guess i wasn't born a poet..." He says with a laugh, as he heads into the armory.

"i wonder if i can find something fun in the pool room... " he thought to himself as started walking there.

The old, coated man continues to the winter garden, is that mildew on his coat?

"I'll kill the Doctor, I must"

"Bah, so close. I can't believe I failed. ...I need something to drink."

Fireplay thinks on his failure as he heads to the Wine Cellar.

ROUND 2

As Daedalus is busy 'wracking his balls' - Doctor Lucky wanders into the adjacent Dining Hall.

"Hmm... I wonder if anyone would like to share these nice crepes with me?" he says absent mindely, having already forgotten to bring the syrup with him...

Daedalus Has The Focus!

Daedalus begins smashing the room to get his attention to him, when he enters he plan to use his revolver card to shoot him in the face.

ROUND 2.5

So - that's another Murder Attempt!

Everyone now has  till tomorrow morning (or afternoon) to respond with Failure Cards to stop Daedalus's evil scheme!

Daedalus brings the revolver up - points it in Doctor Lucky's face - and pulls the trigger!

There is a loud 'click' and a small flame lights up abruptly at the end of the barrel...

"Oh, don't mind if I do," Doctor Lucky says, taking a cigarette out of a case and puff-starting it on the flame. He then pats Daedalus on the shoulder as he walks away - "Good show lad. Good show."

Kirito? Deadalus goes to get drunk in the whine room. Because he can.

ROUND 3

On to Round 3 - everyone now has 6-8 hours past tomorrow morning to post which Room they are moving to search this Round  :) 

"MOOOMYYYYYYY! I THINK I MADE A DOO-DOO AGAIN! HeheheHAHAHA!"

He log-rolls to the master suite.

Ouch, that has to hurt going up the stairs like that hehe...  ;)

Hearing the dnd comment, Callum rolls back down the stairs (ow) and into the dining room.

"Shoo! I'm setting up the board. Get out!" 

"Hey guyssss, you wanna know about my Drow Ranger? He's not evil though, he's chaotic good, yearning to throw off the evil reputation of his kin." 

"If anyone wants to see his l33t stats and abilities, I'll be in the dining room setting up a D&D game."

"Back in my day..." The old Tanstaafl grunts, going into a long muttering conversation to himself about today's youth and it's lack of ingenuity.

"Shut up Yah GEEZER!"

Callum, upon arriving, yells, in a deep voice:

"I wish to play, drow."

"I'm not ready yet! Drixxty Von Axzxs is not ready for play yet! Shoo!" 

Callum grumbles, and sits in the corner, practicing his voice.

"LEAVE USSSSSS." 

"Very well. But call me when you're ready, mortal..."

Callum slinks away menacingly, before tripping and falling up the stairs. (Yes, falling up the stairs. SCREW GRAVITY!)

He's back in the master suite.

"I've had enough of this nonsense, Lucky is gonna die" The hunched man shuffles to the plaza. This will all end soon...

"Blast, where is that idiot Lucky?"

Fireplay heads to the servants quarters to see if the man of the mansion is there.

ROUND 3

As Aman is setting up his DM Screen in the Dining Hall and discovers that his dice are missing, he happens to spot Doctor Lucky hurrying up the Stairs toward the Lilac Room...

With Aman's D&D dice bag in his clutches!

Aman Has The Focus!

"You bastard!" Aman shouts, as he burns his free move to get to Lucky. Grabbing by his meaty neck, he drags him through the rooms, all the way to the nursery, grabbing cards, and his die. 

"Move!" Aman shouts to Naru, as he uses his Convienient move to put Naru in the hall way, and then he enters the Lancaster room, and takes out his shoe horn, and clinks at Dr. Lucky's head. 

"Don't take my lucky dice!" 

Then, upon snapping out of his revenge-fueled fantasy daydream, Aman realizes that there are so many holes in that plan that he's better off just trying something else entirely.

Doctor Lucky meanwhile, can be heard in the Lilac Room rolling Aman's lucky dice on a table...

"Ewe gross! These dice roll like crap!" he complains and then tosses the entire bag of them in the trash can.

"That was a fun fantasy..." Aman mutters, as he uses his move-3 card to get to the lilac room. 

"MY DICE!" He shouts in sadness, as he drags Dr. Lucky through the multiple rooms, until he reaches the Nursery. Seeing Naru, he runs into the armory, where he attempts to stab Dr. Lucky with his Drow Character sheet (eye poke). 

Callum seethes.

"I will not allow this until Callumixtin has had his time!"

He casts 1-point failure card, ruining Aman's attempt and doing 1d12-2 damage! XD

I'll keep that in mind once Aman posts a viable plan haha!  XD

"Where are my glorious dice?!" Aman cries out, which causes Dr. Lucky to run away into the Billiard room to hide. Using his Roleplaying knowledge and metagaming the heck out of it, Aman meets him in the room, and drags him into the Sitting room for a good old' D&D Larp fest. 

ROUND 3.5

So - that's another Murder Attempt!

Drow Paper-Cut of Doom! ~1

Everyone now has  till tomorrow afternoon to respond with Failure Cards to stop Aman's horrible DM on Gamer Abuse!

And, given naruyashan's 1 Point Failure Card - that's a wrap haha!

EDIT - OOPS, forgot some Flavor Text! - - -

As Aman fumes about his lucky dice being touched and prepares to go all 'World of Warcraft' on the good Doctor's ass, naruyashan yells out something about using a Battle Axe, "Cause the Damage is 1d12" or something like that.

In the DM/Rules Lawyer conflict that follows, Doctor Lucky drops Aman's dice and slips unnoticed out of the room...

ROUND 4

On to Round 4 - everyone now has until late Monday Afternoon to post which Room they are moving to search this Round  :)

The old man shuffles to the trophy room with a maniacal grin on his face. 

"An greedy fool like the Doctor is likely shining over his trophies"

"Bastard! You ruined all my dice." Aman cries out in sadness. "Now I'll have to learn a system that doesn't use dice." He states, as he heads into the library. 

Callum does backflips down the stairs, and finds himself in the trophy room.

"Hmm.. i wonder if i can find a smokeable plant in the green room.." Daedalus thought to himself while checking his pockets for his pipe as he made his way there.

"I'm feeling a bit hungry, perhaps I can find something in the kitchen to burn." Fireplay heads towards the kitchen while admiring anything mildly related to fire.

ROUND 4

As the Scooby Gang moves through the Mansion, searching for Doctor Lucky (and heavy things to do the old bugger in with) – there is suddenly a strange occurrence.

An loud modulating tone can be heard outside the Mansion with strange strobing lights flashing in through the windows.

By the time our heroes rush to the windows and look out – both the tone and lights have stopped – and only darkness and the raging storm meet their gaze.

Could it have been lightning? No, not unless the heavens are opening up a discotech…

In the Kitchen meanwhile, Doctor Lucky wanders in with Fireplay.

“Awfully strange weather we’re having,” he quips, then shoulders past Fireplay and into the refrigerator where he withdraws a gallon of milk and starts guzzling it down right from the carton…

Fireplay Has The Focus (again)!

  "I noticed you are thirsty, perhaps we can fix that with a bottle of wine?" Fireplay says to the Doctor as he leads them into the wine cellar.  "Why don't you go look for a bottle of your liking while I prepare something special for you?" He tells Dr. Lucky.

As Dr.Lucky turns away Fireplay moves to tie a rope around the old neck and tries to pull it tight.

OOC: Good? Also loving the massive time bonus between the focus start and end for me. lol

Seeing that someone else is trying to kill the doctor, Tan uses a 1 point failure card.

Daniel seeing that someone is trying to Kill the doctor he uses a 1 point failure card.

As Fireplay tries to noose the old man, the Doctor stirs up some dust, while rooting around for the perfect bottle of wine. That trigger's Fireplay's allergies and suddenly, he is caught in a fit of violent sneezing - unable to catch Doctor Lucky in the Rope!

"Ah, here we are," Doctor Lucky says, oblivious to Fireplay's asthmatic spasms - "'Foot Stomp Number 45'. Such a good Year. I'll go and get some glasses"

With that, the dirty old bastard heads back up to the Kitchen and disappears...

ROUND 5

On to Round 5 - everyone now has until late tonight (or possibly tomorrow morning) to post which Room they are moving to search this Round  :) 

Daniel moves into the armory to see of he can find Dr. Lucky.

"Did anyone actually hear that sounds/see those lights? Odd." Aman mutters, as he heads into Nursery. Best go and play with toys and RolePlay, if you don't have any dice. 

Callum goes into the kitchen and starts making some scrambled eggs.

Daedalus feels slightly tired by now and heads to the master suite... the check out the good doctors bed.

Tanstaafl, tired and cranky due to being in The annoying Doctor's abode, decides to sit down in the Sitting room.

Steaming with hate Fireplay moves to the Carriage room to see if he can find something to kill the foolish man with.

ROUND 5

OOC: ... Does this mean I have focus?

While fixing himself a lamb vindaloo in the Kitchen with extra curry sauce, naruyashan sees Doctor Lucky head out into the Winter Garden with a flashlight and a pair of red signal flags...

naruyashan Has The Focus!

Callum twitches in rage.

"YOU INTERRUPTED MY COOKING!"

He stalks into the garden, dragging the doctor through the green house, through the trophy room, and into the dining room. He begins twitching uncontrollably, and Skrillex begins to play from the walls. Callum begins yelling with power as he begins to dubstep dance like a god.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Using a Move 1 and the Free Move, naruyashan gets into the Winter Garden with Doctor Lucky - then he Lures him into the Green House - but BLAMMO - out of nowhere - Mr. Smiles (remember him?) springs out from under a couch and begins to shred naruyahan's ankle! - - -  PIAZZA Card torn to bits!

He is forced to try a Murder Attempt Immediately, but it is automatically reduced by 1 point...

Callum takes out a silken cord, and begins strangling the good doctor with it.

ROUND 5.5

Unfortunately, Fireplay is eyeballing naru from the Carriage House and the Murder Attempt is blown all to hell before it even starts.

"Bad dog! Bad Dog!" Doctor Lucky scolds Mr. Smiles - "Don't make me get the cattle prod!"

As Mr. Smiles is showing no sign of letting up on poor naru's leg, Doctor Lucky shakes a finger at him and moves off into another room.

Mr. Smiles meanwhile, finishes chewing on naru's foot - leaving him without a shoe - and then bolts away back under the furniture...

ROUND 6

On to Round 6 - everyone now has until late tonight (or possibly tomorrow morning) to post which Room they are moving to search this Round  :)

*sigh* whatever.

lol Fail much?

BIC: Fireplay stifles a laugh at miserably bad attempt to harm Dr. Lucky and tries to follow the old man but soon gets lost and ends up in the drawing room.

Tan, obviously getting senile by now, decides to play with action figures in the nursery.

"I love the blockeses!" Aman says, carrying a block around with him, and heads into the trophy room. It seems he remembers something important was there....

Callum goes to the green house to smell some roses. And he may or may not torture any animals he finds.

Daedalus decides to stay in the master suite to take a nap.

ROUND 6

As everyone is searching the Mansion, naruyashan heads into the Green Room and discovers a rather unusual pod of some kind, growing among the flora. Whatever it is, it is absolutely huge, looking something like a large venus fly trap – only big enough to swallow a man.

Whatever was in the pod is gone however – as naru finds it already burst open – with a trail of glowing green slime tracking across the floor from the thing – as if something living had recently crawled out of it to slink lonely into the darkest recesses of Doctor Lucky’s Mansion…

Up in the Armory meanwhile, Claw2k11 is nodding off – after having found entirely nothing exciting at all in his searches so far – when Doctor Lucky suddenly steps into the adjacent Library.

“Oh dear…” Doctor Lucky can be heard… “I know I put it in here somewhere. Now where is it? Ahh… Hear it is!”

Looking in the room, Claw2k11 can see Doctor Lucky pulling a copy of “To Serve Man” down from the shelf…

OOc: I was certain he was making the Return of the Pod Men! Scene up here. 

OoC: Perhaps a mixture of sorts?

Who was it that saw things in the Carriage House and hasn't shared yet?  ;)

^.^ Let's just say I recommend avoiding that room if you can. It's likely to turn hostile later. lol

Daniel notices the Dr. so he pulls his sharp knife out and goes to stab him.

Tanstaffl Now Has The Focus! (And two or three hours to do something with it)...

ROUND 6.5

Per PM from Tanstaffl - Tans plays a Move-2 Card to get Doctor Lucky into the Nursery with him, then Lures him to the Gallery, and back into the Library. Tans, picks up two new Cards in the process, but has no means of going farther.

ROUND 7

On to Round 7 - everyone now has until Saturday or Sunday Evening (weekend) to post which Room they are moving to search this Round  :) 

Now feeling rather refrashed after his long nap, Deadalus decides to try his luck with one of the female servants in the servants quarters.

Callum twitches as he falls into a distortion in space-time, finding himself in the sitting room with a box of hentai in his hands.

"Oh goodie!"

Fireplay decides to check out the dining hall and briefly wonders where all the servants are.

Daniel goes to the Master suite to see if he can find anything useful to kill the Dr with.

"Carriage house for me. I have been meta gamed into going there." 

And you are about to get Meta-screwed over hehe...  ;)

MWHAHAHAHAHAH 

OOC: I'd just like to say, Aman was quite a man. A bit foolish but still a man. If only he had not wandered into the carriage house after he was warned by Meta-person.

OOC: Aman falls/No more. 

Tanstaafl, hungry after playing with his action figures, decides to make a falafel in the kitchen

ROUND 7

As everyone goes about searching the Mansion, a sudden vicious snarling can be heard from the Kitchen, as Mr. Smiles face-rapes Tansaffl with his teeth and then trots off down a hallway with some falafels…

In the Servants Quarters meanwhile, Daedalus finds a disturbing scene – the slimy decomposing remains of some strange plant-like material on all the beds and not a single servant in sight anywhere. In a lone diary page he reads –

“The Master has been acting very strange since his return from Area 57 last week and has brought back the most peculiar plants – sort of venus flytrap pod like things. We are keeping the plants in the greenhouse for now, but I don’t like them. Something about them gives me the creeps.”

Then another entry –

“The Master can’t seem to stay out of the Hedge Maze at night, where he has set up a telescope and spends hours at a time recording the stars for some reason. Not sure what it means.”

Then the last entry –

“The Master has invited some of his old rivals over to the Mansion tonight to ‘stargaze with him’ as he puts it. They arrive in a few hours, but in a most peculiar turn, the Master has forbidden us from leaving our Quarters and insists that we keep the pod plants in here with us until after his guests leave. I’m not sure what all the secrecy is over it, but he is the Master and knows best.”

As this goes on, Aman hears shouting out in the Hedge Maze – and looking through a window in the Carriage House, he spots Doctor Lucky out there with a telescope and a pair of runway signal flares – apparently waving the flares into the sky and yelling “Epsilon Zeta Delta!”

Hmm… must be some sort of ritual from his college days…

Aman Has The Focus!

Aman, noticing Dr. Lucky using some incantation, looks horrified. 

"After destroying my dice, he plays a roleplaying game? What a bastard!" Aman shouts, as he flips off Dr. Lucky in Drow Sign Language. Being the huge Nerd that he is, Dr. Lucky responds to the insult by running at Aman (1 move, 1 free move), his signal flares still in his arms. 

"Run!" He shouts, as he runs around, parlor room to drawing room, to trophy room, to green house, to the Plazza, and finnaly, into the foyer. Seeing that he has no where to run, for some meta-reason, he shouts to Fireplay. 

"To the billiard room! The bastard wants to kill me!" He shouts, and uses a Convinient move to make Fireplay enter the billiard room. 

And then, he grabs his trusty +3 crepe pan, and duels the mad Flare-wielding man. 

"Pretty crepe weapon you got there, Lucky!" Aman says, trying to say something epic, but failing horribly.

ROUND 7.5

So - that's a Murder Attempt!

Crepe Pan ~3

Everyone now has  6-8 hours after tonight to respond with Failure Cards.

Daedalus, having throwed nothing in yet, turns out to be Dr luckys savior for the day, as he throws in a 3-point Failure card. 

Nice, but it means you'll be less useful later. :)

*Slow clap*

i got more failure cards than attack cards, i think i'll be fine :)

"LOOK OUT DOCTOR LUCKY - THEY'RE ALL TRYING TO KILL YOU!!!" Daedalus screams from inside the Servants Quarters.

"Oh, my, what ever could this be?" Doctor Lucky replies and bends over to pick up someone's discarded 'Failure-3' Card from off the floor - just as Aman swings the Crepe Pan and goes flying over him to crash with a clamor into an old suit of armor near the wall...

By the time Aman untangles himself from the mess, Doctor Lucky has wandered off somewhere...

Im gonna go mope in the Green House.

Tanstaafl starts drooling, his wet mouth-water getting in his beard as he starts drawing in the drawing room. For some reason he's acting like a mental patient, it seems like the leg-hump and lack of falafels have driven him mad...

Callum gets carried by sonic the hedgehog into the Armory.

Fireplay wanders from boredom into the hedge maze.

For no obvious reason, Daniel goes to the Lancaster Room.

ROUND 8

As everyone tries to find Doctor Lucky this round, the Mansion abruptly begins to vibrate with a low frequency hum. Then from under the floor, the muffled sound of a claxton alarm can be heard and suddenly, steel panels slide down across all the exterior windows and doors!

As everyone wonders in confusion what the heck is going on, small red strobe lights begin flashing in all the rooms and a computerized voice comes over the Intercom – “T-Minus Ten Minutes and Counting…”

As all this is going on, Doctor Lucky wanders into the Winter Garden.

“Now where the hell did I leave that Remote?” he says aloud.

Aman, who is closest to him, fails to even notice, as the gravity of the situation begins to dawn on him. Daedalus however, catches a glimpse of the old bugger as he heads in there and is able to act.

Daedalus uses a move 2 card, but doubles it with rollerblades, its now a move 4!

Daedalus runs towards the sitting room having made up a song that he sings loudly enough for the doctor to hear, about how bad he smells. Daedalus uses one of the moves to get into the hallway from the stairs, and one free move to get into the sitting room. He uses up the remaining three moves to the good doctor into the sitting room from the winter garden.

As soon as the doctor enters the room, Daedalus will punch him in the face with a bad cream!

ROUND 8.5

So - that's a Murder Attempt!

Callum's eyes go demonic, and he grins.

"Not so fast, little one..."

He climbs up the wall, monkey-barring the rafters, until he arrives at the Dining Hall, staring at the two. He emits a primal growl.

(A.K.A. What was that noise? Activated.)

Unfortunately, you can't cross the banister from the Gallery to the Dining Hall - so your move is nullified, but you retain the Card for later...

As Daedalus punches at Doctor Lucky, his hand goes right through him like a ghost - causing Doctor Lucky's image to flicker a moment.

Another Doctor Lucky then walks into the room and points a remote at the Doctor Lucky that Daedalus just tried to KO.

With the click of a button, the 'Doctor Lucky Hologram' powers down.

"Pretty neat eh?" Doctor Lucky asks, oblivious to Daedalus's rage, "...got it on EBay for only S29.95."

Doctor Lucky then presses another button and a hologram of Mr. Smiles appears - which promptly trots over and begins to leg-hum Deadalus.

"Oh my," Doctor Lucky apologizes, "it's not supposed to do that..."

Fireplay decides to check the kitchen again for some more salt.

ROUND 9

Daniel goes to the wine cellar to search for the doctor and a bottle of wine

Callum kicks the Doctor in the balls, takes the Tardis, and goes to the dining hall.

Damn... It was just another hologram!  XD

No! Doing it anyways!

Daedalus remembers something.. some dream he had about a monkey, a priest, and some hairy dude... He shakes is head and goes to the dining room to grab a cookie.

Tan decides to search for magical mushrooms in the Greenhouse.

"Um, guys... Don't you think Dr. Lucky is behaving oddly? It's as if he's roleplaying some sort of Alien summoner, but there isn't any class that does that in D&D...." Aman says, as he heads into the Library, yet again, hunting for some obscure PrC that does this... 

"Perhaps he was a Sci-Fi Roleplayer?" Fireplay yells out for no particular reason.

ROUND 9

The Mansion still vibrates with a low frequency hum and the sound of a distant claxton alarm can be heard below – only now it is getting louder and blue strobe lights have joined the red – casting the interior in of the Mansion in a discotech-like throbbing!

The computerized voice comes over the Intercom once again and announces – “T-Minus Five Minutes and Counting…”

As all this is going on, Tanstaafl notices Doctor Lucky wander into the Carriage House – where he begins to putter around aimlessly…

Tanstaafl Has The Focus!

Colorful mushrooms stuffing the Old Tan's face, the psychedelic Geezer turns his attention to Dr. Lucky. His knobbly finger points up as he chants:

"I'M the wizard of Speed and Time, I have magic, that lets you DIE!"

Suddenly, the whole mansion distorts in brilliant flashes of green. Tan, the bastard that he is, transported him and Lucky to the Master Bedroom. Tanstaafl's left eye is wide open, as he cackles with insane glee. He grabs Lucky by the Collar and drags him to the Lancaster room. Just to spite Aman, he takes a Chainsaw and attaches it to his arm however painfully. He revs it up, preparing to mutilate Dr. Lucky... "Groovy"

ROUND 9.5

So - that's a Murder Attempt!

Everyone now has till late tomorrow afternoon to respond with Failure Cards.

Callum yells in epicness as energy swirls around him, splintering the room he's in. He runs to the Lancaster room, cracking the walls with his mighty power. He faces the murder, gets into a stance, puts his hands near each other, and begins.

"KAAAAA...MEEEEEEE"

Energy gathers in between his hands.

"HAAAAAA....MEEEEEE...."

Light streams into the room where the murder is.

*Sigh - - - mind explaining that in layman's terms haha!  XD

I use WWTN to go to the Lancaster room and badabing.

naruyashan hears the Chain Saw rev up and sprints tree spaces (with his 'What Was That Noise?' Card) - only to find Tanstaafl and Doctor Lucky in a very compromising position!

But then naruyashan yanks the plug out of the wall and the electric chain saw dies.

"Oh. doing a little hedge trimming?" Doctor Lucky asks - then leaps tra la la out of the room...

Daedalus skips off to the library to see if they have any books about my little pony.

Tan, in fear of his blood pressure going too high or getting a stroke, decides to relax in the Parlor.

Fireplay heads to the Tennessee room to see what he can discover about Dr. Lucky there.

Callum activates his teleportation belt and goes into the armory.

ROUND 10

Amid the strobing lights and strange vibrating hum, the old grandfather clock in the Foyer can suddenly be heard gonging loudly thirteen times – followed abruptly by the sound rocket engines winding up under the very floorboards! Dr. Lucky smiles manically and the mansion begins to quake more violently than it ever has before. The chandelier in the Dining hall actually comes crashing down and everyone is shaken right off their feet!

Then the entire Mansion lifts up into the sky – hurtling off the planet’s surface and right into outer space!

As this goes on, tiny green tendrils of some kind begin to sprout in various locations throughout the mansion – the Dining Hall, Gallery, Drawing Room, Wine Cellar, Carriage House, and Tennessee Room – poking through the walls and floors, only to grow at an alarming rate to fill the entirety of the rooms with strange alien plant life! Great gibbous pods then form on the thick twisting vines and open like giant waiting fly traps – while other tendrils continue to reach and search for things to grab hold of in their strangling grip!

At the center of it in the Dining Hall, Doctor Lucky pulls his own face off – revealing himself to be some kind of plant-based bug-eyed pod-person!

“You will all make fine pod people!” he cackles evilly, “the trip is very long and your human bodies will provide us the nourishment we require to sustain us along the way!”

Somewhere under a couch meanwhile, Mr. Smiles shudders and spasms – before bursting open and releasing a prickly cactus-like creature from within. The prickly creature slowly grows and elongates – taking on an almost humanoid form – but being covered in long thin barbs.

“I can has ankles?” it asks with a featureless head tilted to one side questioningly…

That's bad...

Hurrying into the Dining Hall with Doctor Lucky, Claw2k11 is grabbed up by the reaching tendrils an thrown into a pod!

"Ha!" Claw's muffled voice comes from within - "Eat this!"

With that, Claw pulls the pin on the Grenade ~8 that he had hidden on his person when entering the Mansion - and blows the Dining Hall all to hell!

The image of Doctor Lucky flickers once again and then goes out - Damn, another Hologram! - but the alien-plants in the Room have all been blasted to shreds and are now dead...

ROUND 11

On to Round 11 - everyone now has until tomorrow Morning to post which Room they are moving to search this Round  :) 

The Dining Hall is Plant Free for this Round...

I think I'll head into the winter garden. Pod Plants don't grow well in winter regions, right? I'll have to check the fiend folio...

Callum,s eyes widen, and he grins.

He walks to the green house, jittering with excitement.

"The martians have come?" Daedalus shouts back, as he heard the noise tan we're making, he rushes towards the armory to find a weapon.

Having survived an attack on his life. Fireplay heads to the kitchen to arm himself with whatever he can find.

ROUND 11

Reaching tendrils of the alien plant continue to invade the Mansion – the Lancaster Room, Servant’s Quarters, and Nursery all falling to the large thrashing vines and huge flytrap-like pods!

Naruyashan meanwhile, is in the Greenhouse when he has an Extra Sensory Perception of Doctor Lucky finding the Hentai collection that he accidently left in the Master Suite!

Somehow, even now, naruyashan can see (in his mind’s eye) Doctor Lucky drawing mustaches and Bruce Lee-style track suits on all the girls! Oh the humanity!!!

Naruyashan has the Focus!

Callum sees the style of jumpsuit and is consumed with utter rage, then suddenly sees a hologram of Chuck Norris.

"Chuck?"

"Yes. This man has done one of the greatest crimes possible. You must kill him."

Chuck Norris breathes on Callum, and he feels the power of gods flow through him. He uses a move-3 to arrive, and puts lucky in a choke hold, then uses a FOYER card to drag him there. He begins to jitter, and music of the gods begins to play. As he begins to dance, the entire universe yells: "CHUCKA NORIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!" His dyslexia only makes him dance harder.

BIC: "No... NO, it can't be a lie! Where is that cake!!" Fireplay screams in agony across the mansion. It's almost like the rooms are shaking or something...

A cake is dropped next to him, signed 'Callum" in cursive.

"Fake! Another Take please! I want my Cake or I will Bake my own with Sake!" He says while melting the cake in the oven.

It's a real cake...

"THE CAKE IS A LIE" Daedalus shouts, as he begins playing league of legends and how twisted fate throws playing cards.

The cake grows a mouth. "DAMMIT! FOILED AGAIN!"

A poster, seemingly unnoticed till now, makes itself known.

'THE CAKE IS A LIE... MUFFINS ARE THE TRUTH!'

It says.

ROUND 11.5

As the insanity-fueled 'Dubstep Dancing O’ The Gwads' is about to blow Doctor Lucky’s mind once and for all – Fireplay simply yanks the extension cord out of the wall socket and the speakers abruptly fall silent.

“Seizures eh?” Doctor Lucky says to naruyashan sympathetically – “I got just the cure for that; simply step into this here pod…”

ROUND 12

On to Round 12 - everyone now has until tomorrow sometime to post which Room they are moving to search this Round  :) 

The Dining Hall is beginning to overgrow with plants again this Round...

Callum falls through a portal into the trophy room, where he proceeds to break everything in it.

Fireplay vanishes ina puff of smoke only to reappear in the library. He begins looking for anything related to the subject of pod-people.

What? Are you saying Winter Garden is not immune to Pod Plants? No way! Maybe the armory has cool stuff

Tanstaafl, with a copy of War of the Worlds and  an outdated copy of 1001 ways to be horribly probed by aliens before they harvest your brain, decides that Lucky is probably hiding in the hedge maze,  and decides to go there.

Daedalus decides to stay in the library!

(You were in the armory last time ;P)

ROUND 12

The killer plant life completely retakes the Dining Hall – erasing any evidence that there had ever been an explosion there!

Then the Billiard Room, Trophy Room (with naruyashan in it), and the Piazza all fall to the invasive creeping vines!

Then Tansaafl sees Doctor Lucky ducking into the Billiard Room! Could this be the real one? Or is it just another hologram?

Tanstaafl looks around, and starts running through the hallways searching for lucky, sniffing meanwhile. He stops by the billiard room, and raises his big red hammer.

"Hey, Puppet Friend Lucky, it's BONK time!"

Deadalus, imagining he's twisted fate of the league of legends game throws out the cards in Tans direction, 2x 1-cards and 1 2- minus card!

ROUND 13

The alien pod plant continues to overtake Rooms – this time engulfing the Winter Garden, Library (with Deadalus in it), and Hedge Maze.

That and naruyashan brazenly plows right into an already infested Room (Servant’s Quarters) – but both Daedalus and naruyashan manage to fight the creeping tendrils off this round!

Meanwhile, Fireplay is in the White Room, when he sees Doctor Lucky out in the Hedge Maze again, once more consulting the stars with his telescope.

“Yep, right on course,” Doctor Lucky says, writing his findings down on a notepad…

Callum walks up to lucky and puts him in a headlock, then drags him back to the servants quarters.  (I can do that, right?)

He pulls out a broomstick, and starts beating the good doctor to death with it.

ROUND 13.25

As soon as naruyashan and Doctor Lucky pass by Fireplay, Fireplay says "Oh no you don't!" and steals the Focus Back (look it up, it's in the Rules)...

Fireplay Now Has the Focus!

And Amam takes the Focus! - for the next couple of hours anyway haha!

Dr. Lucky suddenly runs into the Carriage house, looking for something technical and wondrous. 

"Where's my Godamn Tardis? I paid good money from the Master for it..." He mutters. 

Seeing Dr. Lucky, Aman charges at him, with a move 2 card. The green plant man sees the mustached hero, and runs, into the parlor, drawing room, and into the foyer. Aman chases him, and suddenly, laughs maniacally. 

"Whee Wheee Wheee?" 

"You hear that Lucky? It's not your day, it's the day of the mustache," He states, glaring, as he pushes the Dr. Into the suddenly appearing Tardis (Tardis Card). The two pop out in the armory, and Aman sees Daedalus just staring at him. 

"This is not the Dr. You seek" Aman says, waving his arm around, and forcing Daedalus into the gallery, with a Convinient move (1). Aman then chases the Dr. Into the lilac room, where he takes out a pair of picking shears. 

"And now, Young plant thing, you will dieeee!" He says, breaking character completely. 

Screw you all! lol I have a life too! :p

I didnt see anything in the rules about being able to move other players... :O

Doctor Lucky then wanders off as Aman's mind is trying to cope with what he just saw and heard...

ROUND 14

On to Lucky Round 14 - everyone now has until tomorrow sometime to post which Room they are moving to search this Round  :) 

Tanstaafl coughs, and goes to the armory, looking for protection.

"WTF" Aman states, simply, staying in the lilac room.

Daedalus just ponders over what the hell just happend. However he was pretty sure that wasent the doctor he was looking for. Atleast for the moment, as he wanders into the parlor.

Callum moves to the green house.

"Time to murder nature!"

Fireplay heads to the palor room to try and hide from the pods while he hunts for Dr. Lucky.

ROUND 14

The Master Suite, Lilac Room, and Green House fall next! The thick green tendrils filling the rooms and chomping pods attacking Aman and naruyashan – but they both fight them back desperately!

Doctor Lucky meanwhile, returns to the Hedge Maze with his telescope again, mumbling something about this taking longer than it should and that perhaps a black hole was to blame…

Both Fireplay and Daedalus hear him from their position in the Parlor – but Daedalus sticks his foot out and trips Fireplay when he rushes to go corner the Doctor – allowing Daedalus to steal the Focus!

Callum goes into his insaiyan form, shaking the building with his insane cackling.

"SPECIAL MOVE: 2-POINT FAILURE CARD!"

With that, he holds up a glowing yu-gi-oh card with the number 2 spray painted on it. It burns away, reducing the effectiveness of Daed's attack...

1&2~point failure cards. So -3 on Daeds attack. That's 5 total so far.

Fireplay gets up to scream like a man on fire at Daed as he runs for Dr. Lucky.

That's 5 - still need 3 more (or Daedalus Wins!)  ^v^

Tanstaafl raises his hand to use his Special Failure: You should probably go check that out... Allowing Naru to move 1 space and foil Daedalus's scheme!

"Nice try D, but no cigar!"

The alien plan ravages the Mansion – this time engulfing the Trophy Room (with Fireplay in it), the Foyer, and the White Room.

In the Kitchen meanwhile, Fireplay and naruyashan see Doctor Lucky skip into the Trophy Room and fight over who is going to get to him first. Naruyashan ends up locked in the refrigerator…

And somehow - - - Fireplay has already arrived, before Tans can even get out of the Kitchen haha!

Fireplay runs like a demented mad-man at the docter and chases him into the Parlor

Having cornered the docter there Fireplay wipes out a burning chain-saw from... well, somewhere and takes a swing at the hopeless doctor!

Chain-saw: 4 attack!

Coming back into reality after his daydream about Dr.Lucky  Fireplay then chases Dr.Lucky into the greenhouse and pulls out the chain-saw from his... well anyway's he takes a swing at the poor doctor to make his daydream a reality.

Daedalus uses a very convenient move card -3 to get into the greenhouse! 

Once there, he does the good ol "HONEY, IM HOOOME" From a awesome movie.

Unless it is a Failure/Special Failure Card, you can't use it without the Focus - so no go Daedalus.

Also you would have only needed 2 move cards if that had worked... 1 for the hallway and 1 for the greenhouse. ^.^

Daedalus is a minimum of 4 Moves from the Green House - though he could see it in 2...

? One to move into the hallway, one to move into the trophy room, and one to move into the green house.

Yeah, and the dining room :p.

First off, there is no dining room, and second off, you don't have to go through there to go to the green room...

No such thing as a green room either :P

ROUND 16

On to Lucky Round 16 - everyone now has until tomorrow sometime to post which Room they are moving to search this Round  :) 

Tanstaafl goes to the parlor, hammer and cooked steak in hand.

Fireplay seems confused at the disappearance of his chain-saw and tries to chase down Dr. Lucky before somehow ending up in the Armory.

Callum calls upon his inner hollow and moves with extreme speeds to the Servant's quarters. He takes out a massive butcher's knife of a sword in order to better handle the pods.

OOC: Massive butcher's knife of a sword? What kind of weapon is that?

Daedalus feels like he need a sandwhich so he goes to the kitchen!

ROUND 16

"DR LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Aman shouts, annoyed, as he swings his rope around like a lasso. Dr. Lucky, seeing the mad D&D player, runs into the gallery, with Aman chasing him. However, Aman doesn't seem to be happy with this. 

"Fireplay! Poof!" He shouts, teleporting fireplay into the white room, causing him to be attacked by the vines. 

"Naru! Poof!" He shouts, moving NAru into the white room as well, to get attacked by vines. 

And then, as he swings the rope, and aims at Dr' Lucky, he says something beautiful. 

"Groovy." 

Haha, now you failed at this too! ^^

The last Rooms of the Mansion are engulfed in pod plants and it looks bad for our heroes! Now only the hallways hold any security – but who can say for how long?

While everyone else is fighting off creeping tendrils meanwhile – Aman is in a hallway, when Doctor Lucky rushes past him into the Nursery!

As Doctor Lucky backpedals away from Aman, he pulls out the Universal Remote – just as Aman loops the rope around his neck and shoves him right over the banister!

The Remote is dropped to the floor as Doctor Lucky goes over the side – and with a loud “Wooo!” and a ‘SNAP!’ – breaks his neck and is hanged to death!

The pod plants then go absolutely mad! Thrashing and chomping angrily at the loss of their master – but Aman scoops up the Universal Remote and dials Earth – And in a flash, he’s back on a beach in the Bahamas!

In space meanwhile, a large Mansion hurtles toward a planet in the darkness. The Mansion, filled with an army of Daedalus, Tanstaafl, Fireplay, naruyashan, Claw2k11, Doctor Lucky, and Servant Clones – all without a Universal Remote to control their descent – smashes into the surface of the planet at the speed of light – blasting a hole through the mantle, killing all the pod plant dinosaurs, and making a mess of the place in general.
