Hi folks! 

I'm HeroforHire, or if you prefer, Heath. During my summer last year when I was working my first job I got REALLY bored (like ya do), and I was looking for a way to kill the time. When I finally got to my break I hit the web. I thought about what I could do in about 30 minutes, and I figured a zombie game would do so I looked up games similar to The Sagitarean (it's REALLY GOOD). I typed into Google "Choice zombie game" and choose your story.com was one of the first results. I clicked on and got hooked when I played Dead man walking. I speant a couple of days in and out of work playing Dead man to help stave off the boredom, but even after my time working at my job ended I still continued to play these games with earnest. I enjoyed every word of Endmaster's  Eternal and Briar Rose's The Price of Freedom. My hope is that I can eventually write something as good Eternal (or something at least half as good) and prove myself as a fledgling writer.

Seeing as you've already mastered the ability of putting your story off of sneak (you sure you're a newbie?) I'd recommend getting a profile picture and browsing the threads of the Creative Corner and Writing Workshop if you truly plan on sticking around as a regular here.

Hi Heath, welcome to the site! You seem much smarter than the usual noobs we get, so I think you'll do fine here. I'm glad you have such high hopes, just keep in mind that you won't be perfect from the start. I recommend you to start with a shorter story at first, people who start with a big project often don't finish it. Don't be an idiot and have fun! :)

Thank you Mayana's, I know that I shouldn't put the cart before the proverbial horse. I just have a few big ideas that I at least want to put out there to see if there's interest. I'm glad there's plenty of people who care about newbies on here, so I'll take your advice in stride!

Thanks Mizal, sorry you don't like my pic (is it because it's of a crusader, I don't like the crusade's either tbh). Yeah this website is great along with the people. I hope I make everyone smitten with my wit and cunning =).

The picture has nothing to do with the Crusades. It is a six year old cartoon child of indeterminate gender wearing knight armor. The only thing more ridiculous than the image itself would be taking it seriously.

But between the anime av and your writing thread I just noticed I now have you pegged as yet another hopeless weeb and I am sad, very sad for the future of the site and the world in general. Although I hope your story turns out good and proves me wrong.

Sorry Mizal I really do hope I can prove you wrong that I'm just some weeb. 

Don't worry though, weebish noob or not you'll still probably be receiving a link to our inner sanctum from an admin soon because this is my life now.

I wouldn't say to question the advice of such a respected member like mizal, but between you and me, mizal's avatar is basically a tastefully resized image of some big boobed elf chick... Whom I am unsure on whether or not the elf in question is going topless or not at that. 

Anyway, feel free to message me if you need any help with your story game. 

I'd say anyone who's my senior is still worth respecting, but thank you any ways.
