My discord account was hacked not even an hour ago - so this is fun. I also have to assume they have access to the email I use for my discord account. Time to scrub! My night just got a lot busier.

Seems to be some portugese guy, according to emails I'm getting in protugese from discord. He already changed my username and password. Didn't have 2FA since my last discord account (not hacked) was lost due to me losing my 2FA authenticator code.

Here's hoping I guess.

Update: monitoring bank account closely. Will block transactions via discord if they happen, but the hacker got an account with 7 months of nitro left so presumably they dont care to buy more.

Update2: Decided to change passwords to highest level accounts first. ie the accounts that control my other accounts. long ass passwords, 2FA, and insane password entropy.

First thing the guy did was attach his Twitter to it, too. Disrespectful.

actually the first thing he did was change username/pw and probably email and also maybe he added 2FA as well and he may have also hacked my email associated with my discord account but who knows how amateur or pro the person is

update 4: slow counter-attack. I know he's working through virginia using amazon aes via brazil. indeed the man is undoubtedly brazillian which explains the portugese.

update 5: good ol' onion had a recent tutorial added to the archives in russian on how to get into non-2FA discord and other similar accounts. translators so kindly provided a portugese version that comes up with documentation. nice.

update 6: maaaaan...he has more access to things than I'd like actually. my DMs are full of shit, particularly my DMs to my old account where I keep notes and stuff. fek.

update 7: minecraft server protected, paypal protected, various emails and accounts to things which have access to my money protected

update 8: 2FA'd all the things. not sure when to expect anything from discords' side about this but a real person did say they would let me know when they know.

Just deleted all my DMs manually, but somebody else spent far too much time talking to you so hopefully that account gets locked.

It seems hopeful you got to talk to a human.

Am I right and taking a non 2FA account still requires the person to click a link to a Brazilian porn site from some complete rando?

Anyway, you should be able to rejoin the server now. The problem may have actually been some old account called ford-temp that was also banned.
