I looked at the help, and it said something about a text box? I don't see any text box. What do you do to change it? (Add, subtract, multiply, divide)

I'm so confused!!! Help me!!! >.<

Ah, for changing the variables. First of all, there is a changing variable thing when a link is pressed. You will see a plus/minus button next to the link. Add it by a negative number for subtracting or just type in a number which will add on to the player's current variable.

  If you want to change the minimum/maximum of a variable, go to the variable part of the advanced editor and simply change it.

All that shows up on mine is edit link, and delete link.

Working with variables link on help & info page all it mentions is a text box

Are your variables still on basic? You can check by going to the "[change editor features]" part in the "Story Properties" section of your advanced editor.

No, I changed it to Advanced Variables.

When you are in the editor, do you see a blue + sign?

I see a blue thing that to me looks like a square.

I'm sure it's in advanced editor… is something wrong with it?

The one you click to add, subtract, divide, and multiply is the one on the far right.

I don't see that!

I see x and a blue square.

You have to click the blue square in order to open the text box.

How did you make those other stories if you didn't know how to do that?

So you're saying that when you click this link, a text box doesn't open.

Don't see a text box, I see a name edit, a max and least thing, and I see a allow to show on all pages thing. And a save changes.

Yeah, I don't see a plus. I remember seeing it, but it's not anywhere I have previously checked.

So you don't see the plus even after clicking this link     <<<  in the "Chapters & Pages" section.

Make sure you have added a new page or link first, otherwise it won't show.
