I need some tips as well as advice on using the advanced editor.

I know, I know, its recommended that I don't start this way, but the things I want to do with my story are not availiable in the regular editor.

I do have a question tho. Are things like probability possible in the advanced editor?

By probability I mean something along the lines like;

You decide to pick the lock on a locked door. (link is clicked and a roll or random number is generated giving the outcome)

Is this possible?

I highly recommend reading all the articles available on the advanced editor before using it. They are in the Help and Info section of this site.

In the future you might want to post questions like this in the Advanced Editor section, but the articles are pretty comprehensive, and the advanced editor's not hard to get a handle on at all, at least as far as the basics go. The way the site tries to scare newbies off of it is a little uneccessary, really.

The Writing Workshop is a good place to talk about your upcoming story, too, if you wanted any feedback or input on the plot.

Ok cool thanks. I don't need help with story or plot as I've been working with this world and story for about 6 years now. I just need to get a grip on how the editor works
