Hey! I was trying to buy some potatoes in "The Grocery Store" for my pc (heard it could save electricity) but I ended up here instead. Could someone point me to the right direction?

The name's Raiitou by the way but you could just call me Raii. Pretty new around here but this place seems really cool, seeing how active the community is (compared to other sites). So I hope I am not too weird for ya'll. Let's see... I've always loved CYOA games since 2019 I think, there's just something special about them that always brings me back to the genre. I mean there's certainly a charm in being able to imagine whole worlds in stories and still have some kind of impact on how it goes that other mediums can't exactly replicate.

My favorite game in this genre has to be Magium by Chris Michael Wilson, I've played that game more times than I can count. And I fully recommend playing it if you haven't tried it and you like fantasy stories. Uh be warned though that the author of said game passed away a year ago which is rather sad, I really looked up to him. So the original story won't ever be complete. Though I heard some fans are trying to revive it with the help of the author's family.

But enough of that, I'm sure you didn't come here to read about a game outside of this site. Uhm in other news, the genre that I mainly engage with is animal fiction, stuff like Tailchaser's Song, Watership under, and of course Warrior cats (from what I heard in the "Go to Intfiction" thread, some of you have some really bad experiences with that particular fandom. Which I feel the need to say sorry for. Even though, I am not part of the fandom itself.)

I tend to ramble a lot as you can obviously see here, and I may not be the most socialable person but I really hope I can contribute something to this community. This world is kind of awful right now, so if I could makes even one person's day better I would do it tenfold. I'll probably be lurking quite a bit before I publish something, maybe a poem in the creative corner if people still read those.

....ahem. Anyway I really like the book.

You might enjoy Fleeing the Forest, it's a pretty quick read also about rabbits with some obvious influences. Just don't read anything else by the author, none of it's about animals and its all painful anti-entertainment.

There's also The Brave Polar Bears which is lying to teachers and does not belong in Family Friendly at all.

There used to be a couple of large stories about magic ponies that probably would've been right up your alley, but the author went full schizoid back in January and deleted them while rambling about secret Satanists. 🤷‍♀️

That's good to know, I was actually exploring the site earlier today; was really interested in the Adv. Editor Forum. Have this small idea for a game where the player character is trapped inside a room as something tries to break in. It would be timed (based on the number of actions you spent investigating on how to get out), and each time you die, you wake up where you started with all your memories intact (Making things go faster) but missing all of your items and progress in some of the puzzles.

It is sort of like the don't escape games with the added feature of a time loop. Currently planning four main endings and several bad ends that hint what to do next. Would talk about it more but I got to go. Have a great week as well.

I remember reading Magium too. Definitely one of the best stories on the Google Play Store. Welcome to the site!

Hi hi! Welcome to the site. I didn’t fully parse all of your talking there but you seem capable of stringing together multiple coherent sentences, which puts you leagues above so, so many accounts here, even more so if you plan on using those skills to write some much-needed reviews! People who actually want to read things are always more than welcome.

Fantasy is a popular genre here, so you're in luck! And as far as contribution goes, rating and reviewing storygames would be a great place to start, as most authors appreciate genuine feedback on their work :)
