Hello there. The basic first piece of advice is that, if you decide to do any writing on this site, skip the basic editor and go straight to the advanced editor. It really isn't all that advanced unless you deliberately seek out the advanced features in it.

SindriV got it perfectly, the Advanced Editor is a lot more userface friendly. Even if you don't use items or variables, chapters make your stories much more organized and easier to write.
