Dust off a seat and discuss a good book here...you do read, right?

Honest opinions about warrior cats?

Man, there certainly are a lot of warrior cat fan fictions on here. I think I only read the first book and it was 'meh', I'm not sure why everyone seems to love it so much.

Didn't Erin Hunter also make like the same books except instead of cats it's bears?

I hate it with a passion.

I have no idea what it is, and by the sounds of it, it's better if I never know.

It's just about a whole bunch of cats in clans living in the forest making babies and fighting with each other.

Basically it's a story about how cats would act if they could talk to their ancestors who are dead and were sentient.

I personally loved it as a kid and I still found it enjoyable for the most part. But now that I finished the series it's easier to find the flaws.

I saw it when going to Chapters a few times but never felt any sort of desire to read a book series about cats who are warriors.

The book is sub-mediocre. But I don't hate the book so much as I hate the fans....

Still, they may as well be the same. It's all pretty much the same, with little variation in each. "Shit cat lingo! Shadow clan BAAAAAAD! Oh shit! Romantic/violent tragedy! Meh, it all turns out kind of okay."

I read the first one a couple years ago...

I actually liked it. But it couldn't have been more unrealistic.

Actually Shadow clan turned into less of an obvious bad-guy pretty fast in the first series and the romantic/violent stuff was there to set up the future plots of the next series'. A lot of cats die in that book. lol

It's more of a personal taste thing I think. I enjoyed it as a kid and as such I wouldn't mind reading through them again but they are not my favorite books anymore.

Actually, everybody doesn't love it so much. It's just one person making a whole bunch of different accounts and saying "This is my first story game" for every game they make.

Also a few people who used to read the book as kids, but don't feel the need to write trolly fanfiction about it cheeky

Why do you feel the need to point this out? This isn't going to help you.
