Does anyone know of a good fanfic about Harry's parents from their time in Hogwarts? Like starting before they get together, possibly even mentioning how Snape was Lily's friend?  I tried searching it but everything I found about his parents were like "what if they weren't dead?"  and/or was terribly written.

Well for one voldemort would likely be dead and harry would live like a normal magical kid. End of story.

Yea, it seems to be a pretty common fanfic where Lily and James didn't actually die when he was a baby, they were just hiding out or something.  I don't know for sure because I haven't read a whole story around the premise, because honestly that sounds boring.  That's one of the major themes is him dealing with not belonging, having no where to go, and nobody who can really relate with him.  Now suddenly he has parents?
