A place to sit back, hang out, and make monkey noises about anything you'd like.

So... anyone play that one? It's billed as a "choose your own" thing, but it's more of a literary game, I'd say. I found it via the reddit thread where CYS was mentioned and it is, well... damn addicting if you ask me. It has quite a dark theme, which I thought many here might be attracted to...

Oh yeah, linky.

Yeah, I've played this for a while now. Feel free to add me if you'd like.

I used to play.  I stopped because it kept crashing on me.

If you play dragon age, (or even if you don't) the same people made a similar game called The Last Court (Sorry, no link) set in DAverse, unlocks a war table mission in DAI.

About to bang a model. 10/10 game.

EDIT: Damn it. The bitch sold me out.

Kind of interesting so far. Went with unidentified gender because that’s what all the popular kids are doing nowadays. (Actually the selection of portraits are just cooler looking in that section)

Sort of focusing on shadowy but lately I’ve been raising the watchful and inspired stats by trying to write the most bloody Jack-of-Smiles story I can.

I remember a really good browser game about zombies that had these kind of elements. Think it was called world of the livin dead. Sad they shut it down. Zombie Pandemic was also pretty neat.

Been playing this on and off for a couple of years now. I'm likely only scratching the surface of what's available, but even then the writing and setting is phenomenal. I should probably start a new character and focus on something besides Watchfulness one day...

Persuasiveness and Watchfulness are the most important, imho.

There do seem to be quite a large list of options, thought I do sometimes wonder when I spend a few days worth of actions only to find the last step "resets" that quality back to zero.

Sort of related, does anyone here play Sunless Sea?

I've got an old version from when it had just hit early early access, I guess I really should update it and give it another go sometime. The gameplay didn't exactly wow me, but I'm such a sucker for that setting.

You are escorted from the publisher's office and questioned by constables. Your work gives nine hundred readers nightmares and closes four schools. Women scream and faint as you pass in the street. Sales are excellent. You receive an unexpected bonus: late one night, a stranger delivers a package of bottled souls to your door. You don't see his face, but a note with the package reads: 'Best wishes - Jack'

Finally feels like I accomplished something in this game.

That part was hilarious. Another scene up your alley should be when you can  ruin the model's life after you seduce her and steal her secrets.
