Occasionally, local rescues have programs to help people cover certain vet costs. Of course, rescues generally struggle to fund themselves, so that's not something you can really rely on.
I'm not a professional, though, so as everyone else says, take the following as nothing more than the word of a friend. I've had a lot of dogs go through symptoms like that but get better after 3-5 days, though.
Yeah, I've heard that before. My dog would eat grass himself and I wondered why. I remember watching a TV program saying that it helps them with indigestion.
Do you watch her diet? Making sure she is not eating human food (Or if she is, not too much)? She can't get into the trash, or anything like that? Nothing she could eat that would make her sick?
Yeah, onions aren't too good for a lot of animals, I'm fairly certain.
Well, I hope it isn't the case, but it might be a good idea to look up and check for symptoms of onion poisoning, then.
D:
My aunt's cat had this kind of behavior. May be kidney problem :(

Digestive problems. I'd see the vet ASAP since she's eaten so little for so long.
HAHA
Seriously, don't. XD
But, you were the one that tagged him. YOU SUMMONED HIM FOR THIS EXACT PURPOSE! But yeah, honestly that was pretty funny. I laughed for a while when I saw it.

Any luck calling the vet? Some of the local ones here are fine with giving advice over the phone, especially if it's a dog you've taken to see them before. I'm just not sure vomiting is anything anything can be done about, it may just be something you have to wait out while whatever made her sick works it's way out of her system.
If she's drinking water that's the most important thing. A few days without eating won't hurt her, but dehydration is the biggest concern, especially if she's throwing up.
About the video....it's not a well known fact, but some dogs are aquatic.
Cats, too.
Maybe your dog is aquatic too? Maybe that's her problem. If you don't have a river nearby, have you tried putting her in a well?
Polar dogs are also a thing.
On a serious note, I hope your dog gets better. I know how it feels to lose a dog you've loved and cared for.
Be careful when feeding him large(r) amounts of activated charcoal though. If I remember correctly, it might contribute to further dehydration.
Also, I'm not a vet, but puking and refusing to eat might have many different causes. For example, it might indeed be caused by something he ate, but it could also be a more serious issue, like a bowel obstruction. Try calling your local vet/shelter and ask if they can at least give you some advice.
Sometimes they just wanna hide because they feel like crap. Especially if the kids are at the noisy/earpulling phase. I wouldn't worry too much... I mean, not that you have a choice. But just keep an eye on her and hope for the best, right? :/
Sometimes even I hide from kids when they're like that.
