Yesterday, one of my teachers showed us this video. After watching a few more videos like it, I began to wonder if robots and AI like this will truly be present in the future. It's a strange thing to think about.  What do you think?

Yeah no. The "I will destroy humans" was the cause of a script where it agrees where you ask it to do anything, and they just forgot to filter the word "destroy" out. So the bot, "agrees".

Following the news recently about the Panama Papers compared to our current human masters robots might be a nice, fiscally responsible, change :)

I can see such AI being used for companions, and I believe there was one robot being made as a companion for the elderly. The issue lies in establishing the boundaries between pre-programmed AI companionship, and self-leaning AI (like the whole Tay Twitter fiasco).

I don't trust them, I think this is the beginning of the end. God help us all...

Most people do not realize that this is "the future" that people were hoping for. Most people complain about hoverboards and flying cars. But really, all that stuff is not necessary or provide a benifit for us humans. Would it be cool, yes. Would it benefit us, no.

Our space travel and colonization s pretty disappointing, we were hoping to be way better at that.

Well, we're still not living on mars yet. So I suppose not. (At least not FULLY.)

What would be the point of having robots that are indistinguishable from humans? If someone's unconscious, not breathing, and just pulled out of a car crash, how would you know whether to call a doctor or a repairman? Would engineering departments and tech colleges become a harbor for illegal robot narcotics, like hospitals? WHAT IF BLADERUNNER, ZAGHERO!? What. If. Bladerunner?...

It's so much more exciting, too. 

Now I want to ask 'Zag from 3 days ago' his opinions on multiverse theory and compare them to the views held by 'present Zag.'
