Was checking up on the comments for my Tower of Riddles game and I noticed the ratings... Played 2,558 times, finished 217, rated 252... How does that work?
When you finish a game, you don't necessarily have to rate it. Of course, I'm pretty sure that the system is busted somehow anyway, but that's a possibility.
Wait... No, nevermind. This is the other way around. That's odd :P
I think if you unpublish it the finishes resets but ratings don't.
Oh! Yeah, that makes sense 'cos I unpublished the game for a little while to correct some spelling mistakes.
I have the same problem on my Years Gone By story. More ratings (14) than finishes (9)
There's a little link that allows you to skip rating the story entirely, if you didn't notice.

You can't rate it before you finish it haha, I blame it on the old site, though Galo's theory seems sound.
Yeah, the site needs to be a little updated I guess. Alexp doesn't get on much, does he? A bunch of those games like chocobot's Jurassic Fairview Park have tons of ratings but low amounts of finishes.
