Just an idea.  Would a game with TONS of co-authors be fun?  It probably won't be made into a real thing, but if people are willing to try, then let's do it!

It could be fun or it could a complete disaster. 

Based on history, the always turns out badly. Plus, you can only have 4 co-authors at a time.

The max number of authors you can have it five, I believe. I would help you, but I'm a bit preoccupied right now.

Hmm...yes, I tried to do a "super project" once. It was called "Royale" and started with three authors, though one was dropped due to poor forum etiquette and trollish behavior.

Oh.  Then the project was a "serious" game?

Yes.

Now that I think of it... it might be fun to have a "contest" sort of thing like this!

Sounds to me a lot of work needs to be done in preparation for this i.e. plot, dividing work, etc. There are also several things to consider, such as the mixed writing styles bugging the reader.

As it is, I'm already backed up with a project, I don't need to add another one to the mix.
