*Ahem* Hi again. So I am making a romantic story game based off of my social life (the only thing I have changed is getting the girlfriend)... and me not knowing anything about girls... my dating scenes are going to look dumb.

What do girls like? Maybe I can implement it in my story

I though about putting it there, but this isn't really a "writing idea"

You're still asking for ideas though is what I'm saying, so that is why it belongs there. That's what the workshop is for. I'd have to imagine this is why no one has responded to you.

Mtac is right - pretty much anything that has to do with writing stories on the site should go in the Writing Workshop.

You're making a romantic game, based on your own life, but you need help because you don't know anything about girls? 

So. . . some kinda weird wish-fulfillment thing? XD

My honest advice is, pick a new idea.

I can't think of any games where the author specifically said it was based on their life that turned out to be interesting/clever/well-done.

SO THEY SAID ABOUT THE EARTH BEING ROUND.... AND IT WAS DISPROVEN!

SO THEY SAID ABOUT CONSOLES.... AND LOOK NOW!

None of my games are well done... so it doesn't really matter.

And yeah, it's a wish-fulfillment thing... This is the place where I can create things I have always wanted... writing is a miracle.

Pink stuff.

And candy.

Oh, dolls (maybe include stuffed animals in that category).

Or so I'm told.

Well if this is wish fulfillment why do you need any help for?

Just make up stuff that you think girls like and put that in your story.

I am concerned about offending women...

But I guess that doesn't really matter to you... but I am a nice guy, and don't destroy the world for a living.

Well you should probably ask Drako and Morgan about what girls like. They should have the best answers.

If you want to publish it and get decent ratings, you need to remember your audience.

Making it personal could work, but it is a balancing act with your readers would want  out of it and what you want out of it.

Remember not to flood the audience with too many useless details.

Also you should remember that the audience doesn't know some common knowledge that you know.

If you use knowledge that the audience doesn't know without properly introducing it, then it is likely your audience will be confused.
