A story based on truth to life events

Would it be better to write them on the first person point of view (mine) or second person?

It depends.
When you write a story from the first person perspective, you lose the option to do many things. When it is written this way the only things that the reader can know about are what happens to that one person. When that person sleeps, for example, anything that happens cannot be seen by the reader. You cannot look around a corner to see what is going to happen next. Any actions by anyone else that happen "off screen" are 100% invisible to the reader.
Of course, it is possible to write stories with just a first person point of view, but it does take a bit of skill to make them effective. If you intentionally want to limit the reader to only knowing and seeing what the character in the story, this type of story can work.
